How long after you signed your contract till you got a planner/coordinator?

So i am approaching my one year our mark on Jan 14. I met with my planner in October for a very informal chat and site visit while on vacation. My sales planner has been great. Although I have had to nudge and prompt some for the info she has it all and I have no doubt has it all together. After the site visit she sent me within about 3 weeks a little "guestimate" for my folks of ballpark costs. She is now working on the LOA so we can have it ready to sign before the holidays so immediately after can sign and send back. She only works 3 days a week and one day is usually taken up with consultations, sites and shows. Its frustration not being able to zoom through the process but at least for me i am looking at it like a destination and its on par with that. My folks are still setting aside the funds knowing a guesstimate of costs.
I have all of my favors completely done, ordered & wrapped. I have my guest book and frames, i have a card holder that i made. I made my own engagement announcements, save the dates, and have my invites picked out. I am kinda planning backwards with some of the little stuff but its keeping me from being worried about "not planning anything at all". I am hoping once i am assigned a planner it goes as smoothly with just some nudging needed here and there. I am already planning a trip back to florida in August to do my planning session. Thats 5 months out from the wedding date!

Hi, no still not heard anything. It will be 3 weeks tomorrow they received the LOA. Did they call or email you? Think I'll email them, I'd just like to know things are progressing I guess. Glad to hear things are going well for you

Thanks, I'm sure everything is fine, I'm just a bit of a worrier. Lol. have you got your flights sorted yet? We hoping to get that all sorted finally on Monday.

Wow I guess all it took was an email from me and I heard from the coordinator and than my planner called and emailed me. Woohoo finally! I say give them a call or email asap and maybe they'll get their you know what in gear.

Yay, we heard from our planner. We have Meri L Williamson. Can't wait to get started We also have our flights booked now! Feels like it's all starting to come together finally

glad you got your planner - we are 5 months till our wedding and still not had a planning meeting yet. so getting slightly stressed with the lack of support from disney. hopefully things will get sorted in the next week. fingers crossed at this rate there is no wedding.

Wow, that's close! Have you emailed/called to chase it up (not that you should have to, but sounds like it might be worth it)? Sending you lots of best wishes! I'm sure everything will turn out great, sorry it's turned out so stressful for you.
