How likely are park hours to change once posted?

I am planning for a June 2018 trip for 2 DS's and their GF's and DH and I. I will be able to make adr's next week and am basing those on what parks we will be at each day. I will picks the parks based on hours published at this time. In your experience, how much do park hours change once it gets closer to the actual date? We have always gone during slower times and never during the summer so I am just curious. TIA!

The summer is no longer the heavy crowd time it once was, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. For June, there might be minor changes, as park hours often change as the dates approach, but there won't be the dramatic changes that you get around Christmas & New Year's. I think the best way to gauge what will likely happen is to look at last year's hours for the same dates. But there are no guarantees.

Park hours will change before you go. I have been at the park when there was an annowsment that the park would be open later that day.

The will change. Parks will be open later, and some may open earlier. I think they are pretty well set by a month out, but that can always change.

I agree, park hours will change--as in opening earlier, staying open later. EMH days won't change, just the times to go along with the extended hours. (For example if MK shows closing at 9PM now with EMH from 9-11...if closer to June it updates to closing at 11PM, then EMH would be from 11-1.)

We’ve been going in May and haven’t found the hours to change too much. We’ve. seen small changes at AK and HS. I think the big factor next year will be whether or not Toy Story land is open when you go. That would likely change the hours for HS.

They will change. Especially Magic Kingdom. Hours for our November trip changed about a month before, changing "non-party" days opening from 9 to 8 and changing MK closing from 9 or 10 to midnight on several nights.

Park hours will change as you get closer, as Disney gets a better picture of how the crowds may look for those dates. But in my experience it's almost exclusively lengthening park hours, with shortening them being a rare occurrence. Take a look at the June 2017 hours, and compare them when the initial June 2018 hours come out. That may give a decent look into how the hours for your trip may change. I get your eagerness; I've got a July trip coming up and am waiting for those hours to get released!
