How late of a check out may I request?

Staying at POR and our flight home doesn't leave until 3:45. I'm guessing DME will pick us up around 12:30. May I request a late check out until then, or will I have to pay extra?

It depends on how busy the resort is. Ask the day before you need it. You can still check your luggage and wander around the resort or do something until your 12:30 pickup.

You can request a late check-out and that will allow you to stay in your room until 1pm, for no additional charge. Late check-out is never guaranteed, however. You have to call the night before, or the morning of, your departure day, to request it.

Hmmm, I never thought to do a late check out. Maybe I'll see about one in October. Our flight is not until 5pm. It would be nice to stay in the room a bit longer. Hopefully they won't be too busy.

1) 1:00pm free, if resort not too busy.
2) 1:00pm-3:00pm, 50% of room rate, plus tax
3) 3:00pm and later, 100% of room rate plus tax

If you stay at a DVC resort, there are no late check outs.
