always quiet

Last night, after 9 pm, the quiet of the house was broken by the sounds of someone REALLY banging at the door!! 
About scared the bee-jeepers out of me! The front door was closed, the living room was dark and the porch light was on. Since the kids all like to watch different shows in the evening (like Kirk likes things like American Chopper or Monster Garage and the girls like shows on the Disney Channel), at 9:00, we all go off into our own rooms.
Again, the banging starts up. I glance out the window and see a boy on the porch.
I open the door and this boy asks if Jeana can come out to play! 
I look down the driveway and see 2 other boys on bikes, waiting. I'm sorry, but a group of kids out at that hour (after dark) can not be up to any good!! I calmly tell them that no, no one in my house is going outside to play! 
In particular, no 12 yr old daughter of mine is going outside, in the dark, to hang out with THREE boys!!!
