Title says it all! We are going on a Sunday, and the way our schedule looks it might be a late dinner.

Thanks!

Mostly to park closure unless otherwise posted or last scheduled reservation time for sit down eating places. Sorry can not see the park hours from here.

do the rides stop running at midnight? Or do they cut off the lines at midnight?

I don't think i have ever stayed in DL until it is officially closed, so just a curious question :)

They cut off the line at midnight. Anyone in line before park closing will get to ride. One night last summer we ran to Tower or Terror, the CM checked his watch as we got in line...10:58 made it with 2 minutes to spare! :cool1:

Ah really?! okay. i had always wondered that. so if you arent in line for something do they make you leave at midnight?! or can you just wander until all the rides are done operating?

Well, the restaurants won't be open until midnight. I think they have different closing times, best to call and ask if you have your heart set on a particular spot.

As far as rides go, on most of them, as long as you are in line by the time the park closes, you get to ride. However, some rides close for shows. For example, California Screamin' closes for WOC along with other Paradise Pier rides. If there are fireworks, Fantasyland will close and usually re-open after the fireworks.

Have fun! :goodvibes

After closing, security guards will start moving you toward the exits. :)

Restaurants are definitely not open until closing, we had a hard time finding someplace to eat on our Sunday night there, we just weren't hungry until after 9 and by then there was almost nothing open. We ended up going across the street to Mimi's. :)

The rides are open until midnight (or whenever the park closes), if you want to ride a ride you must be in the line by midnight or you won't get in. The exception is the monorail, if you're using that to get out of the park at night the last monorail leaves the TL station at closing.

Main Street shops are open for another hour after park closing.

YES! Last June I found myself without a place to grab something to eat on more than one night. Not even a Turkey leg!!! We ended up grabbing a pretzel in DTD.

If you want to eat inside the parks, it is best to do so before 7:00 P.M. (sometimes as late as 8:30 P.M.) after that time, eats are EXTREMELY limited, but on property choices are:
7:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. - All downtown disney restaurants
10:00 P.M. - Midnight:
ESPN Zone
Tarder Sams

After that, you have to go to one of the following 24 Hour establishments on Harbor:
Subway
iHop
Denny's

You would think that dining establishments near Disneyland would stay open until about 2 hours after park closing, but oddly enough they don't.

This is all based on personal experiences, believe me, we have learned the hard way. One other option would be snacks from gift shops. It is hard to even get water after this time.

As for rides, as long as you are in line before the closing announcement is made (do not let the CMs base it off of their watches), you are good to go.
