How late can I get off the ship?

What is the latest that someone can get off the ship? Does it depend if you are concierge or not? I have two upcoming cruises, one we are concierge and the other we are not. What about luggage? Do you still put your luggage out in the hall the night before?

Thanks.

They want everyone off by 9:00am. You can put your luggage out in the hall the night before and pick it up before going through customs. I've never sailed concierge so I can't answer how anything may differ due to that.

You can put your luggage outside your room the last night, or not, as you wish. It's just easier to put it out, that way you don't have wrangle it yourself the last morning off the ship. Just pick it up in the terminal.

Generally DCL wants everyone off by 9:00, that's when they will start urging any stragglers toward the door. 9:30 is the absolute latest I've read of someone being onboard. Remember, they only have a couple of hours to clean/turn the ship for the next group (who, undoubtedly want to be on "as soon as possible")

From what I've read, Concierge will be escorted to the front of whatever line is onboard exiting the ship, but at that point you join everyone else getting off the ship, claiming bags, and going through customs.

Are you doing a B2B Concierge/non-Concierge combo? Are you asking about turnaround day?

Thanks. No, two separate cruises in two separate months.

If you're flying home on a participating airline, you can do onboard airline check-in, and set your luggage out the last night of the cruise. The next time you see it will be at your home airport.

Not sure if the port makes a difference. In Vancouver, our Goofy tag was something like 9:30am. So after the 2nd breakfast feeding in Triton's, we just walked off at our designated time to grab our luggage. The only concern was if someone grabbed our black Samsonite by mistake (after 20 minutes, it was found in the pile over).

Just remember how excited you were to get on the ship and wanted to get on as soon as possible. Now, if others took their sweet time to get off before you, you would have to wait that much longer. It will be the same for the new passengers getting on after you. It's best for the new guests and staff if everyone would kindly disembark in a timely manner.

They got serious about people leaving the ship at 9. So it's not that you're off by 9, but that you're in line to get off by/at 9.

Concierge had their last group escorted off (last October) by something like 8. They were closing the lounge. We could have separated and waited elsewhere (we were in no hurry) but eh, why? Nothing else to do (but buy pictures, and we hadn't had any taken).
