How "just one trip" became three (babies)... update 6/29, huge triplets photo update

One more thing.. I know we have a few DIS Unplugged podcast listeners here. Be sure to check out this week's email show! I sent in a voicemail a few days before the boys were born, and they just played it :cool1:

For those that don't know what the DIS Unplugged is, it's a really great weekly podcast by the team that run the DIS.

and here's a direct link to this week's email show since they haven't updated the main page link yet:

you both look very proud holding your 3 boys at one time! They won;t fit on your lap like that for much longer...enjoy it! I'm glad Lease is getting the extra time to help her heal before getting more and more involved with the boys everyday care! We too were in the hospital 2 days extra when Caleb was born due to Jaundice and he was in the incubator for those 2 days we felt that we got to catch up on our sleep and were ready to take care of him once we got home!

Thank you so much for sharing these pictures! I have tears in my eyes just looking at your beautiful family. I look forward to your updates and anticipate watching the boys grow up. Lease you look amazing!

Congratulations of the healthy birth of your sons! As I read your report I laughed when I saw their birth date...we have friends who had triplets exactly 10 years ago to the day! April 29th must be magical!! (oops got the date wrong, sorry)

I have tears in my eyes each time I see those precious babies. And you and your wife look amazing!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO BOTH OF YOU!!!

Cindy

Oh, what wonderful pictures, especially the family ones. It's so good to hear they are coming along so well. It is probably a little blessing that Lease has had some time to recover and start feeling stronger before bringing them all home.

the boys are beautiful!!

Happy Mother's Day Lease :flower3:

Thank you for the pictures!!!! I have thought about you guys every day and I'm so over the moon to see all 5 of you going great!!

Those presents are amazing also!!

I'm glad Lease is feeling stronger and I hope she's back to full strength as soon as possible and that your 3 wonderful boys are all home very soon!

Thanks for the great update Code, but it is tough - each of the boys already has more hair than I do :rotfl2:. Love all the pics, but really glad to have one of the whole family - you all look great, It is amazing how natural both Code and Lease look holding all three boys.

So, have you started looking at colleges yet? You know we have some good ones here :rotfl:.

Oh, and we have every intention of meeting those boys in person - not to mention that we would be most happy to see their parents again :) . We too value your friendship. :grouphug:

Remember back during this trip when I slipped in some barrel full of monkeys references? Yes, that was a foretelling of what was in the works, and this was a lot of fun, and fortunately I have a wife and a daughter with talent.

Now that you all have had a little chance to rest up and recuperate a little, I know that you will be really looking forward to having the boys home, and I'm sure that the rest of us share that sentiment.

Keep up the good work!

You have three of the cutest baby boys I have ever seen. What a beautiful family. Hope the boys make it home really soon. Take care and good luck.

The boys are just adorable! I love the cute little toes picture. I am always amazed at how quickly parents can tell their multiples apart. Did you have little hints at first?

Code: Thanks for taking the time to post pictures and update us - it's wonderful of you! :flower3:

Code & Lease: Honestly, you all look so wonderful! Your boys are absolutely adorable - so handsome! I'm sure you both must be just exhausted in every way, but your pictures don't show it!

Congratulations to you both, again! :woohoo:

I was thinking the same thing. As hard as it would have been to leave them, she needed time to recuperate and let people 'baby' her some.

That was so sweet of you guys, and the finished products are so cute!
I'm so glad they shared your gifts with us!

Looks like everything is going great with the little guys. They will fill your house with love, laughter, and chaos in the years ahead.

Along with stinky socks, a variety of soccer balls, baseballs, footballs, and basketballs, and half-eaten sandwiches under their beds.

Life will be great!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I smile with how you put this, because I can invision this - and it's GREAT! They have so much to look forward to, and I know that they will relish every bit of it.:woohoo:

I've been lurking on your thread...I just wanted to say that your boys are absolutely beautiful! Congratulations :)

Your babies are precious little gifts from God. Enjoy every day with them because before you know it they will be turning 20.

Those boys are gorgeous! What an awesome little group of men!

Happy Mother's Day Lease!

Thank you for taking the time to show off your little ones! I think they are definitly a good mix of both of you.

Code the picture of you holding all three boys for the first time is precious! and the little toes!

Congrats again:banana:

How beautiful your little boys are. Isn't amazing how your heart can fill up with more love than you thought possible?

As someone who had both kids in in the NICU (DD 5 days and DS 32 days), I can sympathize with the feelings you're going through right now. Take advantage of the rest time you'll be able to get right now. I'm sure it's really helped Lease.

From what you've said, it sounds like they'll be home any day now! How exciting!!

Adorable photos! I heard your call in on the podcast and had to check in again to see if you had updated. The boys are beautiful!
