How is your 3.5 year old's Stamina in the Parks?

I am trying to decide whether to fork over the money for Universal Studios for DS. He will be 4 when we go in July.

And not just him but my 2 year old niece and 6 year old Nephew. We are going with my Sister In Law and her DH.

I wonder because we took DS to the GA Aquarium last and we were there for about 2 hours before I could tell he was ready to leave.

I don't know if it's because you can only look at so many fish or if this is his Age Appropriate Stamina.

Because as soon as we fastened him in his car seat, we didn't make it out of the Aquarium's parking lot and he was fast asleep.

Maybe it will be different at Universal Studios but then again, the Aquarium was indoors and the Universal is outdoors.

I wonder if he will be ready to leave within 2-3 hours at Universal? Maybe I am thinking too much

I find Universal very inappropriate for those ages. My kids are 7, 4 and 2 and we will be skipping Universal for our second straight trip. A lot of rides have height req. that my kids don't meet.

I took DS to Universal when he was 3 and he loved it. There is a Dr Suess area at Islands of Adventure that he just loved. He also liked Barney, the dinasaur area and meeting the Super Heros. Universal also has a few different play areas in each park that are good for little ones. Its true that he couldnt go on many of the rides but he didnt seem to mind. At that age he was more interested in meeting the characters and looking at things than actually getting on the rides. We spent two full days at Universal and DS never got bored.
