How is Turf Club at SSR ???

We ate there numerous times and enjoyed the food each and every time. I love the fact that it is quiet and relaxing, no loud noise or music playing constantly. We were there for NYE's and even though it was full of people it still gave the sense of quiet & relaxation.

Thanks for sharing all! We are eating there several times in July. We felt more comfortable in making ADR just in case. We were able to get our days and times we wanted with no problem. I can't wait to share our experience when we return.

I am also of the dissenting opinion. We ate dinner there last Tuesday and were basically underwhelmed.

Part of our displeasure seems to have to do with the recent streamlining of the WDW menus at table service restaurants.

DH and DS both had the crab cakes and they were pretty good. The onion rings were okay. The three of us ordered the steak because that is what they are "known" for. The only choice was a sirloin steak and DH and I ordered it with the bleu cheese topping and DS ordered the crab topping. While the steak was okay, neither of us liked the bleu cheese topping (both big bleu cheese fans), and the port wine demi-glace was very overpowering. Unfortunately there was enough demi-glace to cover the entire plate, including surrounding the potatoes.

It has not made the list of restaurants we want to try again. However, we thought the food court had some interesting choices.

I like it, but my girlfriends LOVED it!!! We went last month on our girls trip. They were all first time visitors to WDW.

The first night we went to Le Cellier and they were not impressed. I like LC but the service was terrible!! And it was crowded and noisy so they thought TC was an OASIS!

The next night we went to Turf and they really liked it! Our service was excellent (on DDP) the food was very good. We had steak, crab cakes (which my girlfriend from Baltimore was very impressed with) Caesar Salad, Ribs, and the Penne Pasta.

They wanted to go back again, so much so that we cancelled Wolfgang Puck to eat there again.

I like the quiet, service was excellent, food was a B+, and it was easy to get ADR's.
