How is TRex for walk up?

So when I was making ADRs TRex was not a 407 WDW DINE restaurant.

Now it is. So I called (yes 2 wks out) to make a ressie - ALL booked. From like 12p - 8p NOTHING.

So how hard is it to get a walk up at TREX? We can put our name in and go shop, no problem, but was curious what this wait is usually like.

I had the same thing happend to me when I made ADRs yesterday. Disney Dining told me nothing was available the entire day for September 1 or 2, which seemed strange to me. So after I got off the phone with Disney I called T-Rex directly and had NO PROBLEM AT ALL making a dinner reservation. So my advice would be to try T-Rex directly, 407-828-8739. Good Luck, hope you get a res. It's a great restaurant, we ate there last year when they first opened

When we were there in February, walk up was about 1 1/2 hour wait.

Yesterday i called Disney for Rainforest Cafe, they said they had nothing. I called rain forest direct and got our name right in.

Call T Rex directly - you won't have any problem getting a reservation. I called yesterday and got the time I wanted (all times were open) for Sept. 1 with 6 people. I asked if I was supposed to go through the restaurant or Disney and the employee I spoke with was very clear about reservations being made through T Rex not Disney.

We're about 3 weeks out and I just tried making a reservation directly with T-Rex. They only had 4:15pm and 8:00pm. This is a Saturday night though. That didn't work for us, but you might want to try!

When we tried it in OCtober, on a Saturday night ( ), the wait was 90 minutes on a walk-up.
