We've never tried this but curious. Can anyone give me the good and bad about Tony's Town Square? Thanks! :thumbsup2

Just ate there 6/21/06 -last time we ate there was about 8 years ago. We had 8:30pm adr and were seated in the glassed room that looks out to the circle. We had excellent server. I had goat cheese appetizer, DH had soup of the day(don't remember) and both were excellent. DS got filet which was cooked perfectly, I had chicken with mushroom and spinach and DH had pasta and chicken parm. All of it was very good and we had a great view of Spectromagic parade at 9pm(there will notlet you go out to the terrace to watch, but we could see great from our seats). DH and I split pumpkin creme brulee for dessert. I would definitely go back.

We were there for dinner in December and we must have caught them on an off night. Our server would disappear for long periods of time and we would have to flag down someone else. When the food arrived, it was all cold. I would have sent it back, but DH said he wasn't willing to wait any longer.

We ordered dessert only because that was how we bribed the children into behaving while waiting on the dinners. It took over one-half hour for their ice cream to get to them and it was almost melted.

We saw Spectro while we were there and I have to say it was the highlight of the evening. However, when we were discussing our ADRs for this year's trip, Tony's was one of the places DH said he wouldn't go back to.

Others have posted about great meals there, and it is really a matter of taste, but we just weren't impressed.

We ate there in Sept and May. Sept was great, which was why we went back. May I was diappointed. The food seems to be made in mass production, it was missing something. I would rate it average.

Our review - ate there last week - YES they have a children's menu...

Tony's - dinner
Recommended to us by Disney Dining - THANK YOU !
We had an 8:15 pm dinner ADR. We sat on the porch. The food is wonderful. The view was spectacular. We saw Spectomagic drive by our table. Pefect view. While DW enjoyed the tiramasu dessert, DH and kids walked 15 feet from our table onto Main Street and saw Wishes. DH taped it, DW saw it later that evening. DD & DS got paw prints paw: paw: in their autograph books from Tony's. They also received Lady & the Tramp mugs. What an enjoyable dinner and night.

"Chicken Florentine - chicken breast topped with prosciutto, spinach, melted cheese, served with roasted potatoes, and marsala mushroom sauce" is awesome!! :thumbsup2

We have eaten there three times. Always later for lunch. I enjoyed it every time. Two times we were in the glass room and one time in the nicer dining room. Never was crowded for us. Two times we watched the parade, which was great. I actually like it because it is a little nicer place for the Magic Kingdom. Cannot complain, plus we all love spaghetti. We are not going here for our next trip because of the free dining, and are hitting places we would not try without the free dining, but I am sure we will return in the future - to Tony's that is; besides, who doesn't love the Lady and the Tramp.

Have fun.

We enjoyed it. It was somewhat slow. We asked to be seated outside, where we could watch Spectromagic go by. It was great! The food was good-- Chicken Florentine was excellent !

We ate there last trip Nov.-04. It was our last evening, and I had not made ADR so this is what I could get that day. My husband was really not impressed.
I beleive his quote was that I should go to the kitchen and make the spag. and meatballs so they wold know what good pasta tasted like. To top it off, they had no ice cream on the menu, just gellato--at $5.95 US. for the kids!
When discussing where to eat this trip (52 days to go), my husband make it a point to say NO to Tony's.

We started eating at Tony's in 1991 when we went to WDW for our honeymoon, and we have eaten there every trip. We have always had great service and excellent food. If you go for dinner, the pesto sauce is great. This is one of the two restaurants that are must do's for us every trip. The other is Le Cellier.

I'm glad to hear that overall, most of you Disers liked Tony's. I'm gonna make ADR's today. Thanks!

yest they do...can't remember whats on it (I think pizza pasta chix tenders?)...one of my boys had an individual pizza the other didn't see anything he wanted to we ordered an appetizer of garlic bread and a side salad for him.

They were very accomodating, and our server kept offering suggestions of other things that weren't on the menu (like fries)...but my son really just wanted garlic bread. They refilled our drinks constantly.

It was early, just as they were opening and we walked in w/no ADR's and were seated right away. And our food came soooo quickly.

My food was good...but my son kept saying his pizza was too cheesy and too doughy and ate 1/2 of it....after I ate, I picked at his pizza and realized it wasn't cooked..the dough was still soggy. We still enjoyed it...great respite from the heat.

Just made ADR's and the CM told me that they no longer take requests for seating preference. Maybe a sweet CM will seat us that day in the glass room. Keep you fingers crossed and send some pixie dust my way! :wizard:

We had adr for 8:30pm and did not even ask for the glass room, just seated there. Most people who requested anything asked for the porch.

We made ADR for October before MNSSHP. We haven't been before, DD is really looking forward to it, since she loves Lady & The Tramp. Are the mugs special drinks for kids, if so we will have to order one.

We had dinner there our last night in WDW and after eating in Italy at Epcot, it was a REAL pleasure. We enjoyed our food. The service was good, and fun. Someone commented they won't go there with the dining plan, we did. The dining plan was great. Beverage, appetizer, entree, dessert and gratuity. You never have to worry and prices don't mean much because it is all covered. Can't wait to go again!

I just changed my ADR from Alfredo's to MaMa Melrose. I've been thinking that
Tony's might be an even better choice. I never ate at any of the three &
are confused. We are on the dining plan too. Any suggestions or feedback would be welcome.

We celebrated our 18th Wedding anniversary at Tony's for lunch on 5/28/06. Our DD was also celebrating her graduation from High School. Our food was great, our wait staff was attentive, overall, it was a great experience. We will definately eat there again. We made a late lunch ressie and almost had the restaurant to ourselves. Our ADR was for 2:45pm. We also go to see the parade.

Here are some of our pics of food and fun at Tony's!

Our special anniversary torte! It was fantastic!

We got lots of pixie dust at this restaurant. WHen asked at the check-in if we were celebrating...we said it was our anniversary. OUr table was covered in Mickey confetti and streamers! And when our dessert came out! THey announced to the restaurant that it was our anniversary!

Wonderful experience
