How is this possible for FP+

I have a 1-day ticket linked in my Disney experience from a precruise stay to WDW in 2013. I have since been to Disney 4 other times and purchased multi day tickets. In MDE, my other previous purchase tickets do not show up except the 1-day ticket.
I am visiting WDW in Sept and my 60 day window opened today. I have not purchased my park tickets yet but I went on MDE to see if the 60 day window opened. MDE is letting me book FP+for 1 day based on the 1 day ticket still linked to my account. How is this possible when the tickets were already used in 2013?? Is there a way I can book FP+ based on this ticket and then my new tickets once purchased? Or will the new tickets override the old 1 day ticket??
TIA!!

Book whatever the system allows, but THEN, buy your 'real" tickets ASAP.
(The sooner the better.)

As long as the FP+ that you can book now STAY in the system:
As soon as you buy your "real" tickets for this trip, those already-booked
FP+ will become "legal" based on your new tickets.

Don't wait to buy your tickets for this trip.

Remember that FP+ bookings are not base on SPECIFIC tickets.
They are just based on the number of days worth of tickets that show up
in your MDE account.
When you get to WDW, you can use ANY valid ticket at the parks and any FP+ you have booked for that day (those days) will work while you are at the park.

That's pretty weird. Are you sure you used the ticket?

I'm basing my answer on it being a GLITCH.
(There have been many reported "ghost ticket" glitches.)

Ride this glitch until it "un-glitches."
Buy the real tickets ASAP.

yes I know I used the tickets. Here is a picture of what it says from MDE but says "annual package" after the ticket so no idea what that means.

I plan on buying my tickets tomorrow for my upcoming trip in September so I will see what happens when I go to book my FP+. I would love the glitch to work in my favor and I can book FP+ for 2 different parks in the same day. I will find out tomorrow!

You will not be able to book FP+ at two different parks even if your old tickets are "still there."
You are limited to 3 advance-booked FP+ per day, regardless of how many active tickets you have in your MDE account.

Not weird really. Quite common actually. I have a pair of ghost tickets on my account too. They are used and can not be used for park access. They can, and have, allowed me to book FP. There is nothing anyone can do to make them go away. And unlike real tickets, they can't be reassigned to others. Nor can they be deactivated. They really are ghosts of tickets

Mine were also from a 2013 trip

You won't be able to double up on FP by having the ghost tickets and real tickets. All the ghost tickets do is allow you to book FP before you actually purchase tickets. Mine are 8 day tickets so we can book 8 days of FP. We just can't use them until we purchase valid tickets that allow us to enter the park

Say it isn't so, Robo! Not a glitch! It's unheard of for MDE to glitch. ;)

I read a lot of posts and hadn't yet heard of it. Maybe the posts are hiding on mesaboy's thread? Sounded weird to me!

Then again when I sign into my disneyLAND.com account I get all my ancient messages about MBs shipping from the last couple WDW trips and adding tickets for my last November trip and how my FP+ from January 2014 has been changed. So.... :)

I have three "ghost tickets" on my MDE, from a trip at least a couple years ago. They are for my daughter, mom, and dad, so we use them for extra FPs whenever we go and one of them isn't there. Sometimes MDE glitches can be nice :-P.

I know those tickets were from a trip actually before the use of FP+ so who knows. I have 3 tickets on my MDE from that trip - one for me, one for my son and one for my mom.

Ah, what must be the difference. We have not gone without the folks that have ghost tickets so while we can book FP with them we can't get extra FP with them. If we go without DGD this winter we'll try this though

I will have to book and extra FP for grandma as she is not traveling with us!
I bought my park tickets today and booked my FP. The FP I booked with the ghost tickets was automatically applied to my 3 day park hopper I just purchased.

After you book the extra FP, do you have to use the MB or ticket that is linked to the person who is not going in order to use it?

Thanks,

No, the MBs work in the park even though they weren't used for park entry. Also, once you have used up the FPs for that day, it then frees up another day that you can make FPs using that MB.
