how is this for cheap air?

After watching air in the last few months go from $216 to $250
on Sun I saw $177 from Milwaukee to WDW in Oct on MIdwest non stop with great times both going and coming. I booked right away!!!


Wait this get even better....

I called my mom to tell her the great deal (she loves a bargain!!!)

and she told me she has a ticket since my sister's niece was supposed to come from NC to WI for a visit last summer but got grounded so my mom was told for $100 someone else could have the name and destanation changed so I called to see what needed to be done now it gets really good the ticket is around $200 so they'll use $100 of that for the name change and the other $100 can be used to buy our other ticket!!!

we're flying non stop round trip for $77 for 2 !!!!!!!

now if I room only code come out
I know I shouldn't get greedy

can you explain this a bit better. You had 177.00 round trip per person. That add up to 354.00 take 100.00 away from that and you have 254.00 for two. Divide that by two and you have 127.00 per peson. Excellent fare, but, I would love to know how you got 77.00 for 2. did I miss something?

and I talked to 2 different reps was the one ticket we have is worth $200 (so we only need to pay for one more ticket) they will take the $100 name change fee off of that ticket so now that ticket is in my name and theres $100 credit left from that trsansaction so they'll take that $100 credit and put it on the ticket that we need to buy which is $177 so take the $100 credit off the $177 and the difference is $77!!!


I was confused too at first but then I realized that basically I have one ticket "bought" already (the one from my mom).

I still cant believe it!!!

I questioned two different reps and both said the same thing!!

One was great she loved disney and was filling me ion things (bascially things I knew already) but she was fun to talk to

just back from the airport. The name change trasnfer went real smooth

The agent wasn't quite sure how to do it though cause Midwest doesn't go to NC anymore but another rep helped her and everything was great.

I walked out of there paying $67.40 for 2 tickets leaving MKE @725am arriving 1100 am non stop

leaving MCO @650 pm arriving @840 pm

By paying $77 for 2 tickets Im just saying the bottom line is thats want came out of our pocket for airfare.

Of course we would have owed more if we had to pay my mom back but shes just glad someone can use the ticket.


Im just so thrilled with this

OK I understand what Gail is asking. I just had to do the same exact thing with Northwest.

I can see how you got 1 ticket for $77, but I don't understand how you got two for that price, if the regular fare is $177.

Either way great deal and enjoy your trip.
I ended up only having to pay $40 for both my daughter and myself for DTW to MCO.

actually after I got home and really sat down I don't see either how it came to $67 we got like a ticket and a half free.

What I thought they did was you had to pay the $100 out of pocket and they would issue a new ticket. but thinking of that it would made the tickets more expensive than just buying a new ticket (if you added the price orgianlly spent on the ticket plus the $100 fee)

everything went through the computer so Im sure the computer figured out everything out right.

they took the $100 off the price of the value of the NC ticket and issued that ticket and then took the $110 that was left and put it towards the other ticket I needed.

zippeehsmom: how did the exchange go for you? it sound like you were in the same situation I was.

Im not complaing. actually the total would be $267 if we had to pay my mom back but she was glad someone could use the ticket.

by the way the flowers are on the way!!!

I forgot to send pixie dust to everyone looking for air.

It actually worked out great. Although it did take a long time to process. I think it took NWA about a month. The difference was just charged on our debit card and I made the exchange in late April. I actually called them back after a couple weeks like hey are you guys gonna charge my card because I could look up all our info on their website.

I understand about the confusing part. I think the way I thought about it I would have paid more, but when the agent explained it to me I understood. ( I guess)

I glad things worked out for you. Hey at least you didn't over pay. Have a great trip!

I have seen these tickets too, but only for Tues and Wed. Were you able to find that price for different days? We are also going in Oct. But the Tues/Wed thing either makes the trip to short or too long
