How is the weather in September?

HOT! HOT! HOT! oh and add HUMID! and RAIN! but i am going in Sept for the second year in a row. Can't beat the free dining!!!!

Blood boiling HOT! Oh wait...that's August. Boiling Hot for September. Toss in 95% humidity and there you have it.

We did it last year and I said NEVER again. Then along came free dining and guess who's doing it again this year?! Summers in Florida are a lot like childbirth/labor/delivery: at the time you swear you will never ever do it again. Then time passes and you somehow forget just how bad it was and you do it again!

As other posters have said... HOT

We only had rain one night out of 6 nights and no rain during the day last year. The year before we had a rain shower one day that lasted about 30 minutes and that was all the rain we had. Just really hot! We bought water bottles with fans on it from wallyworld and that helped. Plus, used our free snacks on cold drinks, ice cream and dole whips....helped a lot!

VERY HOT!!! WE went this past Sept. for free dining 9/22-9/29. We had a great time but it was hot & humid! I would go again but I would have loved it about 10 degrees cooler. We never needed pants/jacket or sweatshirt even once. We just went back each day around 2pm for a swim in the pool to cool off!

HOT with an afternoon shower "most" days around 2pm.

When I say hot it's a really yucky hot - like you take a shower get dressed and head to the resort bus stop and by the time you get there you are soaked with sweat.

Do bring Misting Fans and Rain Ponchos
Don't bring pants or sweatshirts
Do plan on taking breaks to swim EVERY afternoon
Don't plan on bringing one outfit per day (if you don't bring 2, you will be doing laundry)
That's the way to survive Sept.

OH and ride the Safari first thing in the morning if you want to see any animals. By noon, they'll all be hiding.

Steamy!! Rain forest like!! Yes we have been twice and will probably go again though, the lure of no crowds is very tempting!!

That's exactly why we keep going back for more in Sept. The heat is a lot less than an issue when you aren't standing shoulder to shoulder with other guests!
