How is the Plaza?

It's a pretty little place, and the sandwiches are good. We eat there every trip.

DH and I both thought it was decent, but nothing special. I do love Disney steak fries so those were great but the hamburger and my milkshake were more in the average range. I would go again but many years from now after we have tried a lot of the other restaurants we haven't tried yet.

Jumping in on all the plaza love here. For me it's a great escape from the parks and table service at counter service prices. The food is nothing special but all executed well. I was especially a big fan of the Reuben

We love the Plaza. The first time we didn't even have a ADR and got right in. After that we always make sure we have it on our list of ADR's. The fries are the best!

We really enjoyed The Plaza Restaurant! It does a have a smaller and more simple menu, but I thought the quality of the food was excellent. We really enjoyed the sandwiches and desserts, and the french fries were some of the best I've ever had! This is a place where we'd save a dining plan credit and pay out of pocket in a heartbeat since the prices are much more reasonable.

We always go to The Plaza (unless we have free dining.) The food has always been good and the prices aren't much more than going to a QS meal. It's nice to have a relaxing meal and not have to pay typical TS prices.

the Plaza is the first adr i always make when i start my restuarant bookings

the past 3 years i have ordered the reuben sandwich and tomato bisque soup.
lush !

it's a great simple meal in the afternoon.
you don't feel stuffed which is great for being able to walk around the parks later.

now the buffet places, i always need a rest break due to the high amount of foods i stuff in my mouth.........lol

Good but not great TS restaurant. Biggest draw for us is that it is better than the QS restaurants by a fair bit but not much more expensive. We have reservations here in October for a late lunch before one of the Halloween parties. I would only eat here if paying out of pocket - not a good use of a dining plan TS credit.

We love The Plaza!! It's a great place to sit down and have a sandwich in the park. We don't like many of the restaurants in MK and don't always feel like taking the time to go to one of the resorts to have lunch. I always order the Rueben, which is very tasty. This is definitely one of the TS restaurants we will be eating at while we are in MK.

I'm so glad to hear positive reviews. I've never eaten there before but I finally scored an ADR for my next trip. Thinking of having the tuna salad. Isn't it on a croissant?

I really like the Plaza. We have eaten there several times. It is basic sandwiches and salads, but the food quality is good. If you are paying OOP, the Plaza is a relatively cheap meal when compared to other Disney table services choices. I think that is part of the reason it it doesn't get a lot of hype. While it is a good deal when paying OOP, it really isn't a good "deal" when using the DDP.

As for the tables being close together, yes they are closer together than you may like, but it is no worse than any other Disney restaurant.

I have been a fan in the past...

We liked the current menu and went there in April...

It was bad. Same as all the other magic kingdom food - really cheap quality and nowhere near what it once was.

I don't think we'll be eating at any sitdown in mk... Except if we are feeling like breakfast and want to go to crystal palace...for quite sometime.

Just nothing to see there anymore.
