Has anyone had the Mahi Mahi at CR? Is it good? Now that they took the crab legs off the dinner menu I'm looking for a good back up. In a seafood restaurant, I want SEAFOOD, but I don't like pasta so the linguine is out and I eat salmon all the time at home so i want something different.

I'm curious about the catfish too. I've only ever had catfish once - fried - I was somewhat forced to eat it and it was the most disgusting thing I've ever had . . . all I tasted was grease! blech! But, I have read a lot of great reviews for the catfish. Is it spicy?

We have eaten at CR many times. I always try something different in an attempt to finally find something here that I really like. 4 months ago I did the blackened catfish. The tomato reduction on top of it was so overpowering that I could not taste the fish, even after scraping as much off as I could. 2 months ago I asked for a recommendation and was told the mahi mahi. DH and I both ordered it and we both agreed that so far, it's the best food we've had at CR. The pineapple salsa was had bold flavors but it was on the side and it was possible to enjoy the taste of the fish.

What about Olivia's at OKW. I belive they have mahi mahi and maybe some other fish choices. Check their menu at allears. There is also at least one seafood restaurant at the Boardwalk.

I too was disappointed when I realized the crab legs were not on the menu in June. I decided on the Mahi Mahi, but was unsure whether I would like it or not, because it sounded like a complex dish with the pineapple chutney and cashews. Disappointment quickly turned to delight! The fish was very moist and all the flavors blended well!

MY eldest DD had the Mahi Mahi last September, and REALLY enjoyed the fish. The couscous, however, she thought was "weird". She has since had couscous on another occasion and didn't like it then either, so she has decided she just isn't a "couscous person".

I had the crab legs in Spetember. I thought they were REALLY yummy, but I thought the corn relish thingie they served with it was NASTY. My tastebuds wanted a potato for some sort of side, and a warm veggie, NOT cold southwestern corn gunk.

I had it in May (see photo) and loved it. But I love Mahi Mahi. I will say though that when it came, I looked at the huge plate, and little portion (it was lunch) and was like "okay, I haven't eaten yet, but I'm still hungry". But the portion was actually the exact amount needed to "save room" for dessert or an appetizer. Which I went with two desserts! :) But the Mahi Mahi was really good and I can't wait to go back and eat it again.

Ooooh! You've sold me on it! That looks delicious. I can't wait to try it. Restaurant portions are usually way too big for me. I'm more of a 'grazer' and can't eat a lot at one sitting, so if it's not too large then I'll definitely be able to get my dessert and eat it too!

I also had the mahi mahi in May for dinner and LOVED it! I cleaned my plate and that is pretty rare for me. I like all kinds of fish though. Dh had the crab legs and liked them as well.
