How is the last week of February???

Just curious to see if anyone can tell me what it is like in the parks and with DVC during the last week of February?? We are planning on checking in on Feb. 21 and out on the 27th. Doing a quick trip with our 15 month son to get his first haircut.

We are wondering what the crowds will be like and maybe the weather too.

That is the week of Mardi Gras 2004 in New Orleans and we go to Disney every year, during Mardi Gras week. So do a lot of other New Orleanians! You will notice the purple, gold and green shirts especially on Tuesday of that week!

The crowds are okay as long as there are not a lot of Spring Vacations from Northern schools happening at the same time. Also, since President's Week is the week before (I believe), that cuts down on the crowds tremendously.

If you get to the parks first thing, as we do, you won't have any problems. The crowds get heavy around mid-day.
