We wanted to try a new place our 2nd time at WDW.
How is Garden Grill for lunch ?
I have a 1:10 PS on an EPCOT MM

So I guess we'll do a snack around 10:30 AM.
Won't my DS & DD think a Mickey Ice Cream in
the morning be a treat ! ;)

How are the characters at Garden Grill ?
What do the seats over look ? Any special views?

Does the Garden Grill do special things for birthdays ?

thanks :)

I love the Garden Grill for lunch. The meal is served family style - fried catfish, turkey (or chicken) and flank steak, with mashed sweet potatoes, stuffing and veggies. Plus dessert! The food is really good!

I loved the character interaction at this restaurant. During our meal, the characters made the rounds twice. We had a lot of private time with the characters at our table, because of the way the booth is set up.

Request a table on the outside of the restaurant. The entire place rotates (slowly) and you will have a view of the Living with the Land ride.

I am sure they would do something special for a birthday. DH and I celebrated an anniversary there, and we were re-hitched!

I second that, The Garden Grill is great for Lunch.

The food is really good and the character interaction is wonderful.
Here's some links to a few pictures that we took there. :)

in a word...YUM

This DH's favorite restaurant. He HAS to eat here if we are there longer than a weekend.

This is one, if not my favorite palce at WDW. I think the food is very good, atmosphere unique and the characters couldn't be better! Of course, that seems to be true wherever Chip and Dale are found! :)
I think you will really enjoy it. We took my DD and niece and nephew there last trip andthe kids had a blast. :) Have a magical time!

I've dined here and I think you'll like it. The restaurant rotates (very slowly) around parts of the Living with the Land show. The characters are dressed in farmer's clothing and are alot of fun. The food is served family-style is is very good.

:D Another good experience. We have done this character lunch twice and liked it both times. We prefer to do character lunches. This allows us to eat light for breakfast and dinner. I would rate the food as average on both visits- nothing bad, nothing great. The character interaction, however, was terrific on both times! The characters visited our 3 tables (traveling with family) at least twice each, Chip and Dale maybe 3 or 4 times. The characters don't seem to be in any hurry- taking time to really "play" with the children. My 2 1/2 DD was very timid with the characters before this lunch. Chip and Dale brought her out of her shell. They sat down and put her in their lap, let her rub their face and feel of their 'fur', and were really patient and terrific with her! After this lunch, she was all over the characters for the rest of the week. I would highly recommend this lunch for such terrific character interaction!
