How is the Food Court at AoA (for those that have been)?

We are going in October, so I've been doing a little DDP research. I believe that the gelato does count as a snack, but i can't remember where I saw that in writing. I am so looking forward to lemon gelato!

We thought about going over for a meal one night (we're staying at the POP) but after looking at some of their menus I realized they don't have as much as POP when it comes to kids choices...etc. I wonder how many people come from AOA to POP and vise versa? Maybe each resort will add some of the more popular menu items at each resort to keep from overcrowding the food courts?

They have carry-out containers at all the food stations and the plastic forks/spoons/knives were at the check out.

I don't think this pictures represented 100% of the options there. I'd at least walk over and take a look.

Just back from AOA, stayed in Lion King suites beginning on opening day, 8/10. The resort is wonderful and we would definately go back again. I guess we are in the minority here, we didn't like the food court nearly as much as many other food courts. We actually walked over to POP on our last day to eat. The food is too fru-fru for our family. It was missing a lot of the traditional type fare that we like. Also, I should mention that in the morning there are plenty of pastries, cookies, donuts, cupcakes, and desserts in the fridge, but at the end of the day they are gone! They do not re-supply these items so if you want something, get it in the morning because there isn't much of anything left when you come back in the evening.

Hey RatPack, looks like AOA actually has more designated breakfast kidspicks, though 1 less on the lunch/dinner! But the breakfasts look amazing and more real vs fastfood type entries for lunch/dinner! Can't wait!
