We ate at Landscape of Flavors in July too. It was awesome! It was never crowded when we went. CMs are very friendly and accomodating. They're not speedy quick, but I'm not sure if that's because they're still working the system out or if it's because they make everything fresh. Probably a little of both.
DD14 has a peanut and tree nut allergy and we were so surprised to find that there is very little there she *can't* eat! Even some of the breads, rolls, etc. that she normally can't eat she could.
The atmosphere is great and the food very good. The gelato is delicious as well as the housemade chips and seasoned fries they serve as sides.
There wasn't anything we had that we didn't like! The smoothies are awesome, we had a veggie burger, meatball sandwich, turkey sandwich, kids' mac and cheese and sides, spinach/paneer side, cheesey pesto bread, pastries, and a few more things. It was all great!
Two things that were a drawback but not so much so that it wouldn't make us still love this foodcourt:
1. Everyone seems to really like the real plates/silverware, etc. Some of the baskets they serve the food in are adorable. I think it's a really nice touch, but the trays really do get heavy when you put multiple meals on them. I can see this being a little harder for families balancing food, little kids, etc.
I have arthritis in my wrists, so it did get somewhat heavy for me. I'm sure you could ask for your food in to-go products which are nice take out boxes, not styrofoam, etc.
2. They have some great kids' choices, but missing some other kid friendly items like chicken nuggets, strips, etc. Just as many will come from Pop over to AoA to eat, if we go back for an extended stay at AoA we will probably go over to Pop for some of my kids' standby favorites. Lol.
I'm staying at AoA in September and can't wait to try the tandoori and breakfast items this time!
Hope everyone who has an upcoming trip has a GREAT time! You will love AoA whether you are staying or visiting!!
