how is the Doubltree Anaheim Convention Center?

Is it nice? How far is it from Disneyland...can we walk? Also how far of a walk to convention center?

We stayed there on our very first trip 6 years ago. The rooms were very nice. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite so we could have a separate area for the kids. We didn’t eat there or use the pool so I can’t comment on those. We’ve never stayed there again just because it was about a 20 minute walk for us. You can also walk across the street to the Toy Story parking lot and just ride the shuttles to the park. It still takes 20minutes overall but you save your legs a bit.
I’d stay there again especially if we didn’t have kids but my personal preference is to be closer. Hope that helps.

We've stayed there and liked it. We usually use the ART or walk to Toy Story. As far as Hilton branded hotels, we prefer the Homewood Suites at DLR but it can be pricey. The Doubletree orEmbassy Suites is usually less expensive.

We stay at Doubletree exclusively if we’re not staying on site. It’s a great hotel - clean and friendly staff. We always walk to the Toy Story lot and take the bus in/back. They’ve always been open in the mornings when we get there.
