Hopefully the resorts and parks did not get hit to hard. I am leaving this coming Saturday for Disney. Hope fully I do not have to cancel it.

Just some trees down is all I see and hearing. Disney will have that cleaned up in no time.

Quite a bit documented in the https://www.disboards.com/threads/r...ey-resort-post-your-experiences-here.3632710/ thread. But a summary is there are a LOT of trees down across the property, some roof damage at Poly and reported leaks in other hotels. Flooding at SSR and I thought someone mentioned a building at POP might have lost power but I haven't seen any confirmation.

Otherwise I don't see anything about windows broken or anybody on property hurt. Sounds like the parks got through most unscathed.

EDIT: Apparently much of the flooding is from drains getting plugged with leaves and debris. It is receding after those were unplugged.

I'm at the Grand Floridian right now. Everything looks beautiful. There was some damage but things were cleaned up fast. The train ride around Magic Kingdom had so many trees down, I have no idea how they cleaned that up so fast! Tomorrow we had reservations for a Cabana at the Grand Floridian. this is where the Cabanas were. They probably now are in the Gulf of Mexico.
