How is the Cape May Dinner buffet?

It's a Clam Bake buffet. So if that's what you like give it a try. I heard good about it. I have never done it don't like clams. But reading the boards says it's good.

We ate here last Dec. We had a lot of fun. I hate fish and seafood but the fried fish was so good I had two pieces. Loved the chicken and ribs. DH said the chowder and other seafood didn't have any seasoning to it so he doesn't want to go back. However, if you do go try the Oreo BonBons.

We love it, we have dined there 5 times and each time we enjoy our meal...if you click on my Oct link there are a ton of pictures of the buffet...my fave are the roasted chicken, the ribs and on Thur and Fri night they have the most incredible fried talapia with homemade tartar sauce

I am a New England clam chowder fanatic (from the northeast) and I think the chowder is one of the best i have ever had. BIG fan of this restaturant.

We love it too! Our DKs are really picky and they found things they liked to eat also.

It is similar to all the Disney buffets plus some fish items. We are from New England so were not too impressed. But it was good and the resort is lovely. It was quiet as there are no characters. Be careful not to miss the desserts which are off to the side by the entrance

It's very good, and even your whole family doesn't like seafood, there is plenty of other good items on the buffet.

Recommend going early in the evening. We went about 8pm and several of the buffet items were gone, not to be replenished. Dessert buffet was very good- especially the oreos!

I ate dinner at Cape May for the first time last week. I really liked it. I am not a seafood eater, so I enjoyed the variety of non-seafood selections. Everything I ate tasted good, and the Oreo Bon Bons were definitely worth it by themselves! It was conveniently located for us, as we were going on to HS after we ate. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed while we were there, and they replenished the buffet as needed. We went early, about 5:00. I plan to eat there again.

After all the research I've done on dining in Disney, Cape May's Dinner Buffet is at the top of my list and being from Mass I'm wondering if it will hold up to my expectations of a clambake. I'll let ya know in Dec

I would go and give it a try. I like it and my DFi loves it. We went early both times we went and the food was great for dinner.

Hello

With all of the options at WDW please try something else...anything else. Cape May Cafe is the single worst experience I have ever had at a Disney property.

Mediocre food, bad customer service, dirty booths...and to say that it is a clam bake is ridiculous. With all of the theme-ing at WDW this falls short. Please use your time and your DP at WS or the Captains Grill (YC) you will be happier.
