How is the 1st of Feb?

We are looking at going the first week of Feb, the 2nd - 7th, and were wondering how the crowds are?

Great time to visit for low crowds

We have been there at that time - Space Mountain (for example) was a virtual walk on in the afternoons (5 minute wait)

DH and I were there the past Feb. It was great! Low crowds. A little chilly, but still very enjoyable.

Great time of year for low crowds.... be aware the weather can be a little unpredictable. When I went in 2003 at the end of January/beginning of February with two friends there was a "cold spell" - it was sooo COOOOLD! It was in the 30's overnight and into the upper 40's/low 50's during the day - yikes! Being from Seattle we had come prepared (very weird though getting off the plane in Florida and it was colder than Seattle?!) - layering was the key! This lasted for a few days - WOW - talk about low crowds, we were psyched!!!! It did eventually warm up, though and was just fine - it was warm enough for us to even spend time at the water park! So, go, but be prepared for any kind of weather.... ?!

Last year we went from Jan 31 thru Feb 4th....it was Super Bowl week, the game was being played in (somewhat) nearby Jacksonville. The place was loaded with football fans (yes, I know who won ). But it was still far less crowded than I had ever seen it. I plan to return next year at the same time...alas, this season the Supe is in sunny Detroit.

The weather was very finicky...We had one day in the high 70's, one day in the 60's, and one day in the 50's. The nights were chilly (one night dropped into the 40's), and of course the coldest night we spent at the frigid Fantasmic ampitheater.
