I am looking for a restaurant for dinner one night around the Boardwalk or at the YC/BC. I only want to use one TS credit per person. What do you think of Spoodles? Or any other recommendations?
Thanks!

This is the only restaurant we have ever visited twice on one trip! We thought it was great food, although my favorite scallops au gratin was not on the menu this trip.

We like Spoodles. We started with Mediterranean Dips and Flatbread - I could eat them again right now. I enjoyed the seafood stew and my husband liked the New York Strip with the shrimp and scallops. The deserts were also awesome.

Hi~

We ate at Spoodles once because we were staying at Boardwalk Villas. It was nice, the food was good! But it lacks the "disney magic" aspect in my opinion as alot of the other on site resturants. I would not make a special trip to eat there but if you are staying near as we were its great. ~

We also walked over to Beaches & Cream one evening & enjoyed that as well...the atmosphere is fun & the sundaes are SO GOOD! ~

We ate at Spoodles last week! We loved it! Excellent service, great food! I'd go back in a heartbeat.

We have eaten at Spoodles every trip since they opened. We call the 4 cheese flatbread "heaven on a plate"!

We ate at Spoodles in September and we were disappointed. Food was not impressive and service stunk. We won't be going back anytime soon!

Love it!

I loved everything, esp the appetizer! I am going to ask if I can get 2 of them as my entree next time, maybe w a side of veggies or couscous. They were one of my favorite items ever!

Garlic Shrimp with Preserved Lemons

(The BEST thing here!!!!!! )

Service was outstanding- very "upscale" and respectful. We each got tea and when we needed a refill, we were each brought a new pot and new cups, TWICE- for free!

Definitely go here if you think the menu appeals to you, it's one of my top 5! :cloud9:

My DH and I ate at Spoodles about 1 1/2 years ago and had a great meal. Probably our favorite meal. Everything was wonderful, from the actual food, to the service, to the fact that the chef came out and spoke to us about the food (we're vegetarian and he wanted to make sure that we were happy with the choices). A very good experience.

My 18yo DD and I ate there in January and had a different experience. When we told them we were vegetarian they didn't seem like they cared as much. They made gnocchi (I don't remember if it was on the menu or not), but it was very spicy. I like spicy and I almost couldn't eat it. I told the waiter, but he didn't seem to care. We were on the dining plan, and I wondered if he figured he had a set tip and wasn't going to worry about our satisfaction. Other than that, the food was good, but not spectacular, but mainly because of the entree.

The dips were very good and I could make a meal of that, and probably would another time.

Glad to hear the great reviews......we will be going there in September!
