From the website it looks like an awesome coaster. Anyone ridden it? I know it's not new but I've never ridden it.

It rocks!!!

It was the first coaster I had ever ridden that goes upside down. I screamed so hard and long my throat was sore the rest of my trip! :)

It is our favorite ride. You are in the dark with Aerosmith tunes blasting in your ear. The only bad side it seems to be very short.

My dh and kids ages 8-13 love this roller coaster! They went on it a few times on our last trip in January and this was definately right up there w/ tot as their fav. ride!

I have always avoided any roller coaster that goes upside down. However, 3 years ago we found ourselves in line for that ride. We got to the first sign that says pregnant women, bad back, etc.; DS and I were reading the sign at the same time. (He doesn't like upside down either) When he finished reading, he slowly looked up at me and I said, "I will if you will." Well, he debated right up until we got on the ride. I was petrified, but didn't want to show it to scare him.

Well, we ended up riding that darn thing about 4 times that day AND, he still talks about how that was the most awesome ride ever!

So, I can safely say, (on DS's authority) it is the most awesome ride ever!

:cheer2:

During our last six trips to WDW I have chickened out each time. I keep thinking that in May I might just ride it. How can it be compared to a ride like Space Mountain? I love Space and Big Thunder....just don't know if I want to ride upside down.

I think it was one of the best roller coasters I have been on. It was face and great graphics in the ride itself. Even if not an Aerosmith fan you would still like the way the music matches the ride.

My nephew and niece loved it as well (7 and 8 at the time).

Enjoy!

From the description it sounds like Kings Dominion Flight of Fear. Is this a good comparison? I guess only those from VA or MD know what I am talking about...
Anyhow I love that coaster so I hope this one is just as exciting :)

It is much faster than either of those rides, but you are harnessed in, so you shouldn't feel unsecure. You really aren't upside-down long enough to have it really be bothersome. (Plus you get it over with early.) I used to be chicken about upside-down roller coasters too, but this one is so fast and dark that I bet if you give it a shot you'll really enjoy it!

Rock N' Roller Coaster is by far not only my favorite WDW ride, but my favorite ride ever!

Usually I get a little antsy waiting in line, but I don't even care about the wait for RnRC because the whole time they play Aerosmith music! And being that Aerosmith is one of my favorite bands ever (right up there with Led Zep, the Stones, the Doors, and the new band Velvet Revolver - think old Guns N' Roses minus Axl and Stone Temple Pilots front man Scott Weiland) I actually enjoy waiting in line for a half hour or so.

The pre-show is like 100 times better than the one for Test Track. And I love looking at the posters for bands back in the day, my favorite is the one of the Doors I think. Then when you're in the "alley" waiting for your limo to show up you get to see the other trains taking off into a big black hole - it's amazing.

My favorite part is having Steven Tyler screaming the countdown in your ears and you know that you're just gonna go! I don't even realize the first two inversions, just the ending of the second one depending on where I'm sitting, which usually is the front seat. The rest is just a series of turns and one more inversion that you can feel a little more than the first two, but it's not a loop, it's a corkscrew I believe.

The only bad part is, like some others have said, is that it's too short. I usually get a FP, wait in line, then swing around and go on again. Well, that's what I did in summer, anyway. A few weeks ago I just waited the 10-15 minutes so I could hear the good songs!

Oh, this was also the first big roller coaster my sister, who was scared of everything, went on! She loved it so much that we went on it four times in a row!

RnR is my all time favorite ride! And I am not a big fan of regular outdoor roller coasters of any kind! RnR is nothing like Space Mt....it's a much faster, much smoother ride. You will hardly even notice, if at all, that you went upside down. My only complaint is that the ride is over before you know it! Oh and btw...I'm a grandma! If I can do it, you can do it. Try it, cuz you WILL like it!

My entire family loves this ride. Fun theme with great music. The initial launch is awesome, 0-60 in something like 2.5 seconds.

My favorite ride....and it's not just because I worked on it.... I believe it actually is flight of fear, but indoors and with onboard audio...

I loved it. I have a DD who was scared but rode it anyway (she was 8 then). She loved it so much that she rode it several times. ;)

RnR is an awesome themed ride featuring one of my favorite bands. The ride itself is a fast, ultra smoothe coaster that I could ride repeatedly!

It's a lot like this coaster except better themeing and music. I like RnR but maybe I'm just old in my 23 years, it beats my head to death. :) I still go on it every time.
