How is Rock 'n' Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith at MGM?

I really think it's an awesome coaster for people who are wary about going upside down. It's a great time, and a little scary, but still more tame than most upside down coasters. It has just enough thrills and a lot of fun, which I always say is what good Disney rides are all about.

Okay - thanks to all of you....I am going to try it.....I love Aerosmith so at the very least I will love the music!!

I get to ride this by myself on our trip :( DH and DS-8 are way to chicken and my dare devil DD-6 is still to short (44"). Where's the best seat?

It is simply the best ride at Disney! :jumping1: It a roller coaster, a dark ride, very fast and lots of fun! I ride it as much as possible and my DW, who is not a coaster fan has come to love it. She keeps her eyes closed and screams her brains out. :upsidedow

Hello,

This coaster is fantastic, I have been on the MGM one and the one at Disney Studios at DLP and they are both excellent.

Best coaster ever! (may change my mind if I dare go on Sheikra!)

BEST RIDE EVER!!!! :rockband:
Now whenever I hear an Aerosmith song on the radio, it takes me back to WDW.

Not only is RNR my favorite thrill ride at WDW, it is my favorite rollercoaster anywhere! I went on it six times on our last trip. I LOVE the take off and the fact that it is "dark" is so cool. I love RNR!!!!!!!!

From the website it looks like an awesome coaster. Anyone ridden it? I know it's not new but I've never ridden it.
I love this ride! The first time my DH and I got off of it, our knees were like jello, but it was great! :) Now, we try to pose for the picture that goes off as your zooming out of the gate! :)

RnR is one of my favorite rides at Disney. I love it! And this is coming from someone who does NOT like roller coasters. I hardly ever get on them. But RnR is awesome! So much fun, especially that first takeoff. What a thrill!

I Don't Like Roller Coasters That Have The Big Drops Or Any Drops For That Matter. I Can Handle Upside Down. Does This Have Drops? I Haven't Heard It Mentioned. Please Help Me Out On This As I Really Want To Surprise Dh And Dd With Riding This In September.

It' GREAT!!! DH and I rode it for the first time last fall, and we both loved it so much, we got back in line as soon as we finished! The takeoff is amazing- DH screamed like a girl, and he never screams! The loops are awesome- they are fun, but not as intense as an outdoor coaster, 'cause you can't see them. There aren't big drops, but the ride is so smooth and fast, you don't need them to love the ride.

Best coaster at WDW, and best coaster I've been on in a long time!

The take off is amazing! It takes my breath away! I never heard the music or felt myself being upside down! Some frightened person was screaming too loud! :goodvibes

:rotfl: Oh yeah that was me! :teeth:

The very first take off - takes your breath away for a moment but it is my favorite ride. I love the loud music playing during the ride! The corkscrews are the best!

WAY too rough for me. Always leave with a killer headache.

Me too! I rode this once and probably won't do it again because the headache it caused ruined the rest of my day. Don't get me wrong, it was awesome. And I LOVE the theme. "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" was our wedding song, but this ride is just WAY too tough for me. I think I'll stick to ToT. JMO

It's an awesome ride! :rockband: Can't seem to get my dw on it though. I use her ticket so I can get a fastpass to the Tower and RNR, then I take a Drop and then I Rock. A great combo!

My brother (26) and I completely agree. We always wait until the end of the day to do this ride so that we don't have huge headaches all day.
