How is October?

I'm already planning our next trip, we all have decided on 10 days at POFQ. Right now i'm thinking late OCT. I want to be able to enjoy the food and wine festival, And i'm a HUGE Halloween fan. My DH got her holiday at WDW, we just returned from the BC for 7 days for christmas. So my question is, How is WDW during this time of year, crowds,weather, halloween decor....etc.

Love it.

Where it is no where near as much as X-mas I think the MNSSHP is far better then the MVMCP as far as the Party goes.Resorts will have a few small things going on right around the 31st.

Crowds around the F&W fest can get big but for the most part very normal small crowds and wait times.

Weather is hit or miss. I think last year ( 06 ) We were colder in Oct then Dec. This ment Hoodies in the Am and at night . I have also been down right after a Hurricain but Disney is great and very safe during them.

We went Oct. 21-28 in 2006...Epcot was PACKED due to F&W, long waits, huge crowds.
Everything else was ok, except for MNSSHP, which was packed, but fun. It was chilly at night, but not unbearable. A hoody was fine. POFQ was AWESOME!
We stayed at Pop in 9/05 and all parks were DEAD, but it was like 98 degrees every day....
