How is MK on a Sunday?

I am still trying to firm up our Nov. plans. We will be arriving on Nov. 7th and leaving on the 17th. We will be dealing with Super Soap Weekend and Veteran's Day but since we will be there for 10 days we do not have to rush. I was thinking of doing AK on Sat. Nov. 8th and MK on Sun. Nov. 9th in order to avoid MGM. We would then do MGM on Mon. How is MK on a Sunday? Also, what park would you suggest for Veteran's Day? Should we do Typhoon Lagoon or avoid the water park on a holiday?

Well, I can't answer how busy it will be but if you go on Sunday, November 9, then maybe we'll see each other. We plan on doing MK because of the EE. I have the whole week planned. Hopefully, everything will work out.

We usually go over winter break in February and always plan MK on a Sunday. It's a great day to go, but keep in mind that we get there about 45 minutes before opening and are able to knock off all of our Fantasyland musts (young children) within 45 minutes to an hour. Then head over to Tomorrowland, do a couple rides. Hop the train over to Frontierland (Splash, Thunder). Park starts filling up around 11:30 but we've already accomplished a lot and are able to go back to the hotel for a swim or hit a different park. Sunday always works well for us.

If the park hours are limited then, and Saturday night is the only time they are offering Spectromagic at MK - you will be golden! If all those folks stay at MK late on Saturday to catch the parade (crowded!), they won't come for EMH. That's what we do and you get a lot done.
