We always try to get the row that has 2 benches facing each other. It tends to have more room for the stroller.I mean the trams that take you from the parking lot to the parks. Even folded they don't even fit in between the seats. My poor husband had to carry all the weight of our double stroller over his legs.
Not to mention having to fold them on buses and hotels that don't have elevators...Seriously, how could Disney overlook something like this? Is it too much to ask that they have at least one cart per tram either open (cargo) or with seats wide apart enough so that we don't have to literally carry the stroller over our legs?
Which hotels don't have elevators? Not to mention having to fold them on buses and hotels that don't have elevators...
There are some buildings without elevators in okw . They have ground level rooms. All of the hotels have to have elevators, isn't that an ADA requirement? They might not be in the most convent places but they are there. Also strollers are much bigger now then they were when the trams were made. I am looking at the stroller that we will be taking to Disney and while it does fold up nicely it is still not small. If you don't like the idea of having to carry the stroller on the tram you could always just walk to the park, rent a stroller from Disney, or take the buses since they are a little bigger.

I think she's talking about the trams from the park to the parking lot.

We split up this past trip on a DHS day as it was threatening rain and some of my kids were tired. My older boys and I walked with the stroller and the two littles, my wife waited with the 4 middles for the tram. We walked from a far out spot, pushed through DHS security (5 bags and a double stroller) through the gates and then waited 10 minutes for them to make it. Yes this is probably an extreme example, but I found that the walk from all of the parking lots wasn't bad at all this whole trip and I was dreading the loss of Diamond Parking. The walk from parking lot to TTC isn't that bad. We don't bother with the tram
No, some of the DVC resorts, and I *THINK* one building at POR, do NOT have elevators. There aren't many of them, but they do exist. All of the hotels have to have elevators, isn't that an ADA requirement? They might not be in the most convent places but they are there. This is correct. From what I understand the buildings that lack elevators are only 2 stories high. I know for sure that is true of CBR and the section of POR without elevators. Maybe that is why they are still ADA compliant.
