My DW and I did a Fantasmic dining package for our trip in March earlier this year and picked Hollywood & Vine. I will agree that the décor is lacking the typical Disney flair Ive been to a Whistle Stop Junction buffet that had better theming and décor than H&V!!! But the food was pretty good, with a nice variety there was salad and toppings, then about three meats and enough vegetable/sides to choose from to please most people I would think, and Im pretty picky (the only GOOD food is Southern food, right? ) I had a turkey pot roast that was very good cant remember what DW had but she enjoyed as well. They also have a small kids area with typical kiddie foods pizza, mac and cheese, burgers, fries, etc.
And the dessert bar was very good plenty of variety and they kept it well stocked. Although we did want to take a big bite out of the chocolate sculpture in the big glass case of Mickey fighting Melificent!

But there was ice cream/frozen yogurt, different cakes and crumbs, cheesecake bites, etc.
We also got in pretty close to our res time, which was good, since there was a light rain outside!
It was good, but nothing spectacular. Overpriced (like most dining at Disney) for what you get compared to the outside world, but overall it was good and not having to wait in line for Fantasmic was worth it (DW was in a wheelchair due to a knee injury
)
That said, weve not tried the other TS locations at MGM, so I dont have much to compare it to in the same park
