I had sold some of my kids clothing in like October and did pretty good. I'm just wondering how everyone is doing now? If things are going well, I might list some things tonite.

As for myself, this year has NOT been good to me! I have not listed many items because the items I DID list sold for almost nothing! I have kids clothes also, (what size do YOU have...maybe we can trade!! :earsgirl: ) and I also have some jewelery, leather skirts and plus sizeclothes.
I am going to put a few more things on in the next couple of weeks and HOPE they do ok....

I want a bidding war on my stuff.. Right now 3 of my 4 have bids but most are really low... One it sells usually for over 30 and mines still at 15...

I have over a day left lets hope they all go UP!!!!!!!

I just listed 15 auctions on Monday night. Two are selling, and the rest are being "watched". I really hope they do ok, but with the holiday/tax deadline going on right now I am not sure what will happen. If they don't sell then I will just relist in April after Easter.

I bought a postage scale, but I haven't started setting up any auctions yet. I'm such a slacker.

I have a ton of things to sell before our cruise I'm hoping I'll get some good sales. I have 150+ comics all mint, a camera, clothing, books, etc. Goodluck to all!

I have been doing pretty well. I have sold some clothes. Mostly collectables and household items lately. All going well. I am keeping all the money for Disney.

I don't list regurlary on Ebay I go in spurts but sales seem to being good this time around. Better than Dec. Good luck everyone

After reading some of the post here I decided to give Ebay another try, I listed 6 items and all of them sold better than I expected mostly girls clothes and boys jeans( one pair sold for $14.51 - Sean John jeans-) so tonight I am going to the kids closet and get rid of all the clothes that don't fit them anymore :teeth:
Linnette :earsgirl:

I have been listing like crazy trying to save up some $$ for our trip and my sales have been really good. I've been listing spring and summer clothes mostly. I have too much clothes that I never wear. I've also listed some books and DVDs on half.com and they are selling pretty well. -Steph

Okay so after a slow start 3 of my 4 auctions did *really* well... 3 items with about a 65 dollar net profit after shipping and fees... Soo not complaining :)

This is *one* addicting hobby and NOTHING in my house is safe anymore (okay so my pins and other things may be)

WOOHOO! love last minute bidding which leaves me at about an 85 dollar profit for 3 items :)

THIS is addicting! -em

You can say that again! Last night I was reading a book to DD4. The book was about a little girl exploring her grandmother's attic. As I read about the things she was finding I found myself wondering what the items would go for on eBay!!!!!! I guess I've got it bad. :rotfl:

I'm only in my second week of sales. I made $15 profit on my first auction (a "lot" of girls clothes). This week I have 5 auctions going. Only one is selling but the highest bid is double what my starting bid was so even if the others don't sell I'll be happy at the end of this week. :teeth:

I listed a bunch of my son's summer clothing from last year, and after a very slow start, they are now being bid on and bid up! The items with no bids are being watched by a lot of people.

I think it helped that we swapped ebay user ID's on another board I am on. Many of those "friends" are bidding on my stuff for their kids. Yay!

I still think ebay is much slower now than it was last year at this time. Maybe it's the new fee schedule?? I listed my stuff a little higher than I normally would.

Someone on this board said they work for the United States postal service. I can't get on the community boards at ebay right now...they aren't coming up for some reason, and I can't find the answer on the usps site. So my question is.....how do I ship back issues of magazines? I know I can't ship them media mail, but can I ship them bound printed?

I am doing VERY VERY well right now. Selling last years Spring and Summer clothing and some other stuff that isn't really dated. But sales are GOOD!

Oh and people are getting smart IMO, but that hasn't hurt most of my auctions. They seem to be watching and waiting to bid on stuff.

What do you mean by "people are getting smart"? Enlighten me... :teacher:... I am so fascinated by all things pertaining to ebay at the moment! :rotfl:

Go to the USPS site calculator page. http://ircalc.usps.gov/
Put in all your information. Zip Code to and from, type of package, Weight etc

All your options for shipping will come up including media mail and bound printed matter. There is a little link next to each option that explains more about that option and what can or can NOT be sent by that method. :teeth:
