We are thinking of only attending one character meal this trip. Has anyone attended the Crystal Palace for dinner with the Pooh characters? We love Chef Mickey's and Garden Grill and are wondering if it is worth changing to this one. :confused3  :wizard:

Have only been there for lunch, on several occasions. We love it! A good variety of foods, with pizza, mac and cheese and chicken fingers for the kids. Salads, pasta, beef, chicken and fish dishes. Great interaction with the characters. Make-your-own-sundaes with soft serve and toppings as well as cookies, brownies and cheesecake with toppings. Highly recommended!

Last January we - six adults - had dinner at the Crystal Palace & really enjoyed the food, the service & the character interaction! I would gladly eat there again!

We love CP and eat dinner there on almost every trip. We love the prime rib, and the creme brulee is outta this world!

The service is always good, and my kids love all the attention they get from the characters. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Have fun!

we've had the lunch there and we would do it again the characters were great

We LOVE the Crystal Palace!!! We have a meal with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet on EVERY trip!!! GO!!! You will LOVE it!!! :cheer2:

I'm so glad to hear that this buffet is great. I have it planned for our first night.

Can't wait to see the kiddos faces! :lovestruc

We've only done Crystal Palace once and it was the most miserable restruant experience we've ever had anywhere. The food was rotten, the service beyond dismal, we barely saw the characters (never pooh) and when we complained they just looked at us and asked us to pay the check. But I don't think that is necessarily a common experience; however, a Disney specialist TA friend of mine says it isn't uncommon either. I wouldn't try it knowing what I have experienced, but best of luck to you. No one should encounter that kind of service/food at any restruant. Our dinners at ltt &
GG was fanatstic though!

We ate there for breakfast, last year, and didn't like it.

We enjoyed breakfast and dinner there. We thought the Character interaction was great, service was great and food was very good for a buffet.

we usually go for dinner
DS13 & I will be trying brkfst here in Aug

We had breakfast there last week. I enjoyed the atmosphere--being sunny and greenhouse like. The food was so-so. I think because we had such a late PS (10:30 am), that they really didn't restock the items like they should have. Seemed like there was more fruit than anything. But it's not like we went away hungry--you just find what you like and eat more of that.
The service was good as far as the server constantly making sure we had coffee and juice.

I would do it again (I give every place at least 2 chances), but I'd just be sure I made an earlier PS. Have fun!!

We loved the Crystal Palace and will do it again next time. There was tons of food, a great variety too. The characters, Winnie, Eeyore, and Tigger all came to our table. The big kid in both of us must have been obvious as all characters stopped and had photos taken. My 19 year old daught still mentions this as her all time favorite event. It was wonderful, a great ending to our trip.

This is one of my favorite places to dine at WDW and is a must each visit. The food and the service are great.

Have done CP 3x for dinner. One time I enjoyed it the other two times I did not (both food and character interaction) and would not go back to dinner there except that I have a niece and nephew who like it. That said I think everyone should try a place at least one or twice and form their own opinion. We usually try at least two new places each trip, for July it will be Whispering Canyon, Hoop Dee Doo and the new menu at the Garden Grill and in January we hope to get to Boma, Fresh (breakfast) and Yatch Club Galley.

My family and I usually do Crystal Palace for breakfast. There is a large variety of food and all tasted great. Always had good service as well as character interaction. This year we will be trying it for dinner. I can't wait!
