We went for dinner, before the 1st
MVMCP in 2006--we loved it!
Well, I loved it! too much character interaction for the rest of our party--all men, the youngest 17 yo!
For us, we had the best table in the house, at the windows overlooking a little bit of garden. Now this was far away from the buffet tables, but it suited us, as the noise & jumble is situated in the middle of the CP, nearer the buffet lines.
It does seem a bit noisy in the CP due to all the hard surfaces.
In general, due to the nature of the beast, we find most WDW food venues noisy & don't let that interfere with our experience.
We all thought the character interaction was very good!
The guys seemed to think there was a little too much of it
I loved it & danced with Pooh & friends. what the heck, you only live once
If we'd had the nieces & nephews with us, it would've been ideal.
As for the food, yep, it was okay, but DH & I aren't into buffets.
DFIL & DSthen17 are buffet hounds and loved it. We don't really go to WDW restaurants for a foodie experience. The CP buffet offered a good variety, tasted decent, looked pleasing and the service tables kept clean & filled.
We liked it & will go back.
