How is Crystal Palace for dinner??

CP was great when we went at the end of March this year and we have our ADR for CP again this Christmas. I would Drop Plant hollywood, all the reviews I read are not that great.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Cp, will not disappoint. I never tried it. My mother, and father raved about this place. So, I made Adr's for it this year. I gave up spoodles to eat here. Here is to hoping!:wizard:

We went for dinner, before the 1st MVMCP in 2006--we loved it!
Well, I loved it! too much character interaction for the rest of our party--all men, the youngest 17 yo! :rotfl:
For us, we had the best table in the house, at the windows overlooking a little bit of garden. Now this was far away from the buffet tables, but it suited us, as the noise & jumble is situated in the middle of the CP, nearer the buffet lines.
It does seem a bit noisy in the CP due to all the hard surfaces.
In general, due to the nature of the beast, we find most WDW food venues noisy & don't let that interfere with our experience.

We all thought the character interaction was very good!pooh:
The guys seemed to think there was a little too much of it :rotfl2:
I loved it & danced with Pooh & friends. what the heck, you only live once :woohoo:
If we'd had the nieces & nephews with us, it would've been ideal.

As for the food, yep, it was okay, but DH & I aren't into buffets.
DFIL & DSthen17 are buffet hounds and loved it. We don't really go to WDW restaurants for a foodie experience. The CP buffet offered a good variety, tasted decent, looked pleasing and the service tables kept clean & filled.

We liked it & will go back.

We had dinner there last September and it was one of the best buffets we ever had. This coming trip, I've booked CP for dinner And breakfast and I can't wait to try the puffed french toast and breakfast lasagna!

We love CP for dinner. We have been there many times and the food is always delicious. I am addicted to the adobe pork and DH is a corn spoon bread fanatic.

We have Crystal Palace booked for breakfast our last day, but I am looking for places to eat that are inside the parks. If CP is alright for dinner which ressie would you change??

I am thinking of dropping O'hana's

Here is what we have booked so far.
Sept. 1- Plant Hollywood
Sept. 2- Tony's Townsquare
Sept. 3- Cindy's Royal Table
Sept. 4- O'hanas
Sept. 5- Kona
Sept. 6- Coral Reef
Sept. 7- Crystal Palace Breakfast

The only ones we are attached to is Cindy's Table and Crystal Palace breakfast. Any advice would be appreciated. TIA!:thumbsup2

We love CP!!! Cindy's Royal Table is great too - look to see if you get a hidden Mickey sprinkle in your food!!! :wizard: O'hanas was okay not that great. Coral Reef was beautiful but food was blah - Kona haven't done yet and Tony's is one of our sentimental favorites!!! Have a great time!!!

My DW and I really like CP for dinner. We ate there right before wishes on the night we got engaged, so it has a bit of meaning for us. We liked the food and were surprised to see characters as we did not know that it was a character site.

Anyway, I'd ditch Planet Hollywood since it's a chain and you can eat there in any major city. The memorabilia is cool, but again, it's a chain.

Either way you'll have a blast because you're on vacation at Disney!
