How is Comfort Suites Maingate (not east)

I am looking into offsite hotels. Comfort Suites Maingate, got good reviews on Travelocity and its a great rate for May 27-June 4th at 69.99 night. With a free Continental breakfast this would save alot of money. Has anyone stayed here, all of your input is very appreciated. Thank you

As long as you aren't expecting any frills, it is fine. We stayed there in 2001. Since we had a huge group, it was really the only affordable option.
I liked: the size of the accomodations, the pool (though it could get loud at night), the proximity to restaurants/shopping, and having full-size kitchen appliances
I didn't like: the customer "service." the morning throng at breakfast, the pool bar noise 'till all hours of the morning
(keeping in mind I had a three year-old and a 7 month-old at the time), and the unreliable bus service to the parks. We booked there because we wanted this, and wound up driving there all days but one
Still, we never could have accomodated my parents (2), sisters (2), nieces (2), children (2), and cousin (1) affordably on-property.

We are extending our stay in May at HIFS with one night before, and one night after, at Comfort Suites Maingate(long story- getting in late and couldn't get the entertainment rate for HIFS for the 2 added days + wanted to save some money!!). We got a great rate by booking on the choice hotels web page where they have a e rate guarantee, saying they will beat anybody's price - 10%.
Booked it for $69, but then I had already found a rate of $43 on orbitz. Filled out the claim form on the main page and within hours had a confirmation of $38 night!!!($43 less 10%) This is for my family and Mom- so it works for us.

Try this thought: I would highly recommend Comfort Suites Maingate EAST over your present choice. I am returning for my second visit.
I checked your dates on www.hotelmartusa.com, scroll done the opening page. They are quoting a rate of $53.50 for a studio suite with 2 queen beds for your dates. With this info go to
www.Choicehotels.com, make your ressie and get a confirmation number.
Immediately find the rate guarantee on Choice website and file a claim. You will get a quick response and your rate will be lowered to $48.15 ($53.50 from hotelmartusa rate minus 10%, $5.35)
The Maingate East is a newer property with a great location, nice pool and an excellent breakfast which will save you alot of money.

Well I got it 9 nights at Comfort Suites Maingate East for $504.61
that includes tax!!!!! I love these boards and all the great information on them. Thanks again Winterman, you made my vacation that much brighter
