How is Chef Mickey's Character Breakfast?

Just trying to get an idea if the character breakfast at Chef Mickey's is worth going to?

For the characters and fun -- YES! However, I've never been overly impressed by the food (I find Cape May Character Breakfast at the Beach Club Resort much better). On the other hand, my DW loves the food at Chef Mickey's -- but there's no accounting for taste!

We love going just for the grins and giggles -- the characters there seem to really get into the magic. They have everyone laughing and it's a wonderful way to start or even end a WDW vacation!

Fun atmosphere and great characters! I love watching the monorail go by while we eat.

However, the food is nothing to write home about. In fact, it has been so yucky the last few times we have been there that we probably won't go back. Last time, everything was really cold and terribly picked over. There are other character breakfasts with much better food - Ohana and 1900 Park Fare come to mind.

So a thumbs up for fun and thumbs down for food!

We were there last Saturday celebrating our son's birthday!I thought that the atmosphere was wonderful and we didn't have any problems with the food!

We go to Chef Mickeys every year on our first night. The character interaction is wonderful. The food is ok. There is a good desert bar.

We loved it! It was so much fun and the food was good, not outstanding, but good. We have so many great pictures of the characters, they really do a nice job of getting around to all the tables. It was well worth the price.

Characters - Good

Dining - Comparable to high school cafeteria food. Some folks like that though.
