Having a handicapped parent, I know how awful it is for some people not to show concern and be so disrespectful. You can look at my step mom in her ECV or wheelchair and you would sware nothing is wrong with her, but she suffered a severe brain trauma back in 2000 and she walks horribly with a walker and cant walk on her own, so we have to put her in chairs. And it is true you cant change rude people

Anyway, we were at the big Georgia Aquarium one weekend and no one --NOONE - cared about the handicapped at all. Pushing, walking in our way, hitting the chair, etc... One woman was in the bathroom, ,, and i was pushing my step moms way to the handicapped stall (the line was soooo long) and some mean lady said she didnt ever have to barge in front of people to get her grandma to the HC stall..... well, first of all, i didnt barge....IF YOU ARENT HANDICAPPED, DONT USE THE HC STALL!!!!!! Duhhhhhhhh..... and secondly, my step mom has a incontinence problem (her brain cant control her bodily functions) and I was trying to get her into so she wouldnt have an accident! But there are some people in this world NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO that just dont care and are so inconsiderate it is unreal.

But there is always KARMA.

I don't know anyone involved, nor did I witness the attack; however, I wish I could be there when Karma bites that woman in the butt. I have a feeling her meanness will come back to her at least a hundredfold!

Unfortunately I would be in such shock and disbelief that someone would actually say that, that I'd probaby just stand there not knowing what to say. By the time it registered, the lady would have been long gone. It can be a sad world we live in.

That woman is so terribly lucky I was not there. I would have verbally annihilated her and made sure everyone within the sound of my very loud voice knew what a disgusting and shameful excuse for a human being she was.

I truly believe (and hope very strongly in this case) that what you put out there comes back to you tenfold so I have to believe this woman will get hers, somehow and someway.

I prefer to think that this is not "what the world is coming to" - it's what we're moving away from. This woman is a throw-back if I ever heard of one. Thank God this kind of behavior has so many jaws dropping. She's too ignorant to change, and shouldn't have the power scare anyone into thinking that she represents anything but the tiniest minority of Disney-goers.

I give lots of praise to that CM for holding back. I truly feel for the family and the child. Lets hope that idiotic woman who said that reads this thread and learns something. Most likely that will not happen but I do believe in the phrase “What comes around goes around!”

Unfortunately people like this lady, ones we need to reach, aren't going to be here looking at these boards. She's out teaching her kids an invaluable lesson in intolerance. I feel deeply sorry for her children and anybody that comes into contact with her. hmmmm.....sounds familiar? I think I've typed this before to another Disboard member...yup...sad.

Two things. First, I frequently (but not always) have no trouble speaking my mind. I would have looked at the griper in horror and say, "I can't believe you would say that." in a normal voice, then walk away.
Second, I'd be SURE to get the CM's name and stop at Guest Relations to leave an official compliment for her or him.
