How I got my Pin Code -- Not Guaranteed to work...but worth a try!

Yesterday, I received a pin code for 1/5 to 3/2 & 3/16 to 4/12. It is fro 25% to 35% select resorts. I will post the detals below.

But first.... how do I think I got this pin code? I think it is a series of events:

1) May 2013: Ordered new 2013 DVD
2) June 2013: Created a online profile on Walt Disney for my husband
3) June 2013: Downloaded my Disney Experience for my iphone
4) July 3rd, 2013: Called Disney asking if 2014 pricing was out
5) July 5th, 2013: Called Disney to get a quote on Room Only 2014
6) July 10th, 2013: Looked up rates online, saved the quote
7) July 11th, 2013: Called to get a quote for it with AAA discount (was told it was not available)
8) July 14th, 2013: Called again to get a quote with AAA (got it for 3 rooms at POP for 10% off)
9) July 14th, 2013: Called back to make it a reserveration without a deposit (needed to confirm with family)
10) July 15th, 2013: RECEIVED A PIN CODE AT 3:59 P.M.!!!!!!!!

While I am not saying that method was the way I got the pin code, it just so happened that I did get sent one. You should try it too!!

I've done similar things in past few months and have gotten 3 pins now. We didn't even stay on site in April but did the disney experience app. I always request the DVD and then also save a few prices. I need to add my husband online now too.

I'm curious as to why there is an exclusion for the first two weeks of march. Has Disney caught wind of all of us Mardi Gras travelers! I'm assuming the room only discount isn't like the free dining deals where if you check in before the cut off it applies to your entire stay. I hope these dates are different for GP!

same here! I just tried to save an offer and there was no way to do it.

I haven't done any of the above and have received 3 PIN codes by email in the past 45 days, along with one in regular mail.

Before this, we had never received PINs.

It is amazing the different ways people are getting pin codes!

As for the saving – really it is saving by not deleting anything from your cart. That is the only way to keep it saved. I hope that helps!

I think I'm just lucky because I don't do anything other than log on at my two separate Disney accounts now and then. I've been getting PINS for years. Now that I've said that, I'll probably never get another one.

Well I hope it's like this year and we get a free dining pin for Mardi gras ! !

Thanks, I saved some offers. I used to get PINS all the time, but now that I actually want to stay onsite I get none! :/

I never get pins either...but really need this one. So i just signed up dh with a wdw account n saved a bunch of offers, and ordered him a dvd. I will try anything lol.
