How hot did it get today with you?

You have to admit .. today was a super hot one!

I checked my weather thingy at about 6pm and in the shade is was still 30 degrees (whatever that is..!) I just know its hot....

Did anyone else clock the temperature where they were today?

I dread to think what it was in the sun.. and at 2pm!

Had to commiserate...it's 37 celsius or 98 here in Alabama...luckily we have air conditioning...I hope some cool west winds come blowing soon!
Visiting UK in 8 weeks...let's hope it cools some!

hit 32 for the kids sportsday today. We were struggling standing there. The kids have to commended for doing so well in the heat.

The outside temperature on my car said 31 degrees and that was at 1 this afternoon

My car was showing 34C but not as hot as my conservatory which at 9.30 this morning was 118F! Unbearable!

Its still very hot here, I feel like I am melting! It would be ok if we were equipped for this heat but nowhere has any aircon!! I think we should all go and stay at Obi's for the summer!!

It was a very hot day yesterday but today is set to be even hotter I think its the nights that are the worst, its far too hot to sleep.

Sounds weird but shut the windows, close the curtains and have fans on, our house has stayed cool. Even had the quilt on in bed in the early house last night. Took a visit to the cinema (air conditioned beautifully) and then to Macdonalds (even colder) last night so were a very cool family last night. Hasten to add this was a treat for Ashley for getting 100% attendance all year at school.

our house is pretty cool too .. my son was positively COLD in the night!
But the front of our house was so hot we couldnt sit out there until gone 7 last night!

Was 34 degrees in Manchester yesterday, and today feels much hotter already

I have keptthe curtains closed in the bedroom and it feels lovely. Another tip is to open the hatch into the loft - the heat rises up there.

it was 31 yesterday here in the North West of Ireland
we were still sitting out at 10 last night

it was only 25 last month in Tenerife when we were there plus cloudly

It hit at least 32c here .They cancelled the kid's sports day because it was to hot,they have put in to friday afternoon now, depending on the weather.
Yesterday was very windy but as their school field backs onto the sea they didn't want to take the risk,you don't realise how hot it really is when it's windy.

It's poured down here during last night but now the sun has come back out.
