How Hot & Crowded is the Second Week in June?

Unfortunately we have to cancel our January trip, and the earliest time we can go after that would be next June 9. However, we hate heat, humidity and crowds. I'm guessing the second week of June would have all of those. Anyone been at that time and can give me the lowdown on how bad it really is?

Oh boy.....well, just remember it IS Disney so how can you not have fun?

A friend of mine was there the 2nd week in June this year (she hates heat too) and she said it was pretty darn hot and it was crowded, but she said not AS crowded as she thought it might be. She has also been in July and August and she said it wasn't quite as hot or crowded as when she had been those 2 months, but she also said she is never going past the middle of May til the middle of November again.

Again though, it IS Disney........so she said she still had fun, but just a "less comfortable" fun.

Deb's site says that early June-mid June is moderate attendance and that mid June-later June is higher attendance.

I can tell you that we went the last week of June thru early in July and it was pretty crowded in parks at times. If you got the parks early & rode, then utilized FP, it really paid off and we accomplished alot. Some people that we met there had been in WDW since June 8th (they were from the UK) and said it was not busy until about the week of the 18th when attendance seemed to be building. They said that they visit every other year & though that is was a good time to come.

We began our stay on June 10th, and later that week, we were hit by Alberto, so there were lots of showers, rainstorms. However, we still went to a campfire/movie, went to 2 concerts in the America theater, and did all of the things we wanted to do in the 5 night stay. We would definitely go at that time of the year again.
