how have the GAD fastpasses effected lines?

I am just wondering how the give a day fast passes are effecting the lines? Are there less regular fast passes each day? Do the combination of regular fast passes and the GAD fast passes make the stand by lines even worse? I am planning a June trip so the lines will be long anyway.

We were there in March and did not see any difference in lines due to GAD.

I im attractions and I have never seen a GAD fastpass. Not saying they are arnt out there but I havnt seen one.

In the 4 days we were there last week, I only saw 2 other families with GAD FPs.

I think all the talk about them here is highly disproportional to the number of people who know about them in the greater world, let alone who earned GAD and who use them for FP.

Thanks! I am relieved to hear that they are not making a difference! I prefer not to go in June (spoiled by touring in the off season) anyway and was a little worried that the GAD would add another layer of people in front of us in line!

Nah, don't sweat it! You'll see a lot of people wearing the buttons that the give you identifying you as a volunteer, but that'll be the most you see of it.

I would think most people would be using them as tickets instead of the Fastpasses. That's what we're doing, anyway!

The number of people redeeming GAD vouchers on any given day is only a small percentage of the total number of guests. The number of them redeeming for Fastpasses is smaller still. Plus the number of GAD GPs given out is limited (although I have yet to hear of that limit getting reached), so Disney has at least computed a number that would not seriously affect operations. And they could have even "removed" a certain number of regular FPs from distribution to compensate for the estimated number of GAD FPs to be used, which would bean there would be a net-zero effect anyways.

That's a lot of words to basically say, who knows , but you're not likely to notice a thing.
