I'm heading there on Wed. and was just curious how the crowd levels have been??? I know there prob won't be any tourists there but I think that the locals haven't started school yet...anyways..any input would be great!!

Last Wed. I was at Dl. before it opened, it was nice that DL. allowed visitors into Main Street before the actual opening time of 9 a.m. that would not be the case however, the next day, but that is o.k. too.
Wed. the weather was hot, (icky) and humid, but I kept my cool. I spent as much time as possible, in cool rides, which are also my most favorite as well, POTC and the HM. and I love the Tiki room too, also wonderfully cool. before noon, you could walk onto just about any ride, by noon, anywhere from a small wait, to practically nothing, at various times, until a bit later in the day, when crowds became a bit larger. Same thing with Thursday, only the weather thank god, was much nicer in comparison to Wed. I would not define the crowd level as light for the rest of the day, however it was not crowded either, on Thursday, by late afternoon on, the crowd level was much larger, from the day before, and by 8 p.m. holy cow, where did all of these people come from? ;) he he, but it still was really not bad, most definitely not to visual capacity, but not light at all, either.
The Indy ride had a issue or two, so it had been shut down, fortunately only for a short time, I had one fast pass, burning a hole in my pocket! he he so I decided to wait for about 10 minutes or so, and the ride re-opened, I did not need to use my FP, however, I figured why not, I have it, so I flashed it. Walked right onto that ride, just like earlier in the day, I love fast passes.
At times, the line for Indy, as an example, could be a bit long, this still being Thursday, but not terrible, until later in the evening anyway, but ah, how so many people go away, and so quickly, when the ride is shut down, bad for them, good for me, ;) and other savvy riders, it truly was a thing of beauty to be able to walk onto that ride, as if it was still in the early morning. :)

Thanks so much for your input!! I was there on the 27th of August with my sis and it was still pretty busy..but I figured with school starting for some that the crowds might go down a bit. You know who all those people were coming out later in the night were the locals!! After work they come for a few hours and relax..I totally would do the same thing if I lived close enought!!

When me and my sis were there on the 27th Indy didn't open till 11 or so and still after that it shut down a couple of times..that ride is in some serious need of a refurb..good thing with the fastpas though..that's the way to go when the crowds are high.

Hopefully the weather won't be too humid or hot on wednesday..it seems too have cooled off a little..well speaking from san diego..it's always nice to ge away to those a.c and dark rides when it's hot!! Thanks again so much!!
