I'm not sure what you mean about "all these negative posts".
There have been few negative posts on this site.
DAS does not work the same as GACs did. How DAS works is explained in post 1 of the WDW DAS and DL DAS threads near the top of this board.
Basically, you get a Return Time with the DAS.
You come back to the attraction any time after that time has passed and will be sent to an appropriate place to enter the attraction. Exactly where you will enter the attraction depends on the attraction. At WDW, it will usually be the Fastpass line. DL may have other places because there may not be Fastpass at all attractions and there are fewer accessible lines.
Once you have used the DAS Return Time to enter an attraction, it is no longer active and you can get another.
You don't have to return exactly at the Return Time. It remains 'active' and you can use it any time after the time has passed.
WDW and DL recommend using Fastpass along with DAS in order to maximize the number of attractions. They suggest always having an active DAS Reurn a Time and an active Fastpass.
