How hard is it to get HHI for August at 7 months?

Hi Everyone!

New here New to DVC!! We're looking to visit HHI August '10. How easy / hard is it to book @ 7 months?

Well, we tried once and were not successful-wanted to take our daughter and her husband (they are teachers). I wanted a 2BR. My husband and I decided to go in September (last year) and had no trouble booking a 1BR mid month. The resort wasn't crowded at all. I'm sure some people have been able to book August at 7 months? It's worth a try-it's a beautiful resort and I'd love to go back!

2 bedrooms are the easiest to book as they are the most plentiful.

I jwas able to get two studios for three nights end of August at the 7 month window.

First trip on DVC points, and I was able to get a 1 BR for 4 nights in July at 7 months out. I've heard that's impossible, but it made me think anything's possible. Now, when I have to waitlist for the first time, I may change my mind. It's worth a try! Good luck! Oh, and call at exactly 9 am at your 7 month window.
