How hard is it to get a studio?

Is it difficult to get a studio in one's home resort in mid-December? Specifically I'm thinking of VWL, if that makes a difference.

The question is when do you want the room for? Are you trying in December for another month? Or are you trying in January for December?

If you try at 11 months out, no problem at all. If you try at 4 months out, probably a big problem. VWL in December is usually a hot property since everyone wants to be there for the decorations.

If your home resort is VWL and you are booking during the 11 month window (ie January) then you'll be fine for booking a studio in December... but I certainly wouldn't wait until June!

WL studios are in great demand during Dec...it's beautiful.

We tried shortly before the 7 month window this year & couldn't obtain the dates we wanted.

I'd book ASAP & cancel later if need be.
