Anyone out there even booked a free ticket on JetBlue? We are members of the FF program, and it seems simple enough: accumulate 100 points (BOS-MCO comes to 4 pts each way).
This is pretty close to the Delta level of 25,000 miles, but I know that on Delta, there are very severe restrictions on when and where I can use the "free" tix. In order to get a Spring School break r-t on Delta, I had to book at 331 days ahead, and only one ticket was available at 25,000 mile level (we had over 100,000 SkyMiles available).
So now that JetBlue has joined the American Express rewards program, I am starting to think that maybe if JetBlue is easier to book free tix, it just might become our preferred carrier (one or two of us on free tix and the others on paid tix). We rack up a lot of Amex Rewards points.
So anyone, how hard is it to book free tix on JetBlue?
Thx in advance.
