How hard is Bula Bar & Grille at Royal Pacific to get in for dinner w/o Ressie?

Is the Bula Bar & Grille hard to get in to for dinner without a ressie? Do they take ressies? - I guess I'm asking if it's usually crowded at night.


How is this place- I saw pics of the food and it looked great.

Service is fast.You can order from a lounge chair or a table.No ressies needed!!!

he Bula bar and Grille, is at the pool, so you either order and they will bring it to your Lounger ,as PP said or you can sit at the tables at the grille area itself, definetly no ressies needed.

Good to know that is an option for dinner unless we just decide to eat at the park or head over to DTD or back to POP.

I don't know if you can eat at an on site hotel restaurant without staying at one of the onsite hotels. I could be wrong though. Everytime we go to HRH for lunch poolside they ask for my room key first and hold it until the end of the meal when you get your check.

You can definately eat at an on-site restaurant without staying on-site. I almost always eat at Tchoup Chop, and have never stayed on-site.

Pool bar might be a different story. Someone let me know if I can't eat at Bula's. Anthony's photos have made me so hungry for that steak wrap or chicken sandwich I really want to go there next trip.

You can go to any of the hotels and eat at any of the restaurants or have a drink at any of their bars without staying onsite.

they encourage park guests to eat at the onsite hotels.

they hope that those guests will someday be enticed to book a stay there then.


non hotel guests can't use the pool and the fitness room.
but they can book a spa at pbh, go to velvet sessions at hrh, do the luau at rph.

i've not had that happen to me before.
i know you have to show your room key to get towels if you use the pool.
if you are using the pool besides eating there outside, maybe that is why they took your room key.


i haven't used the pool at the other places when i stay on site but have eaten at their restaurants.

next time you go, refuse to give them your room key.
be a rebel.

I know when we ate at Bula the waiter asked if we wanted to put the charge on our room key, but we opted to just put it on our Master Card & they never asked to see the room key.

When we ate pool side at Portifino (weren't staying there, just visiting the pool), they never even asked about a room key.

One of the days we went to IOA fir the water rides in the morning then went to HRH for lunch and pool time. We decided to eat first since it started rainning and the pool was closed until the rain passed. We sat down with towels we already got. The waitress asked us what we would like and asked for the room key. I told her we are staying at RPR and we are paying cash. She still said she needs to see the card. I did not get the card back until we got our check, kindof strange.

Hmmmm - maybe it's just a HRH policy? We didn't dine pool side there, so I don't have any experience to go on.

We were staying at the RPR and went over to PB,as soon as we walked into the gates of the pool area they asked for room keys!!
At HRH they never said a word about it!!
I guess it all depends on how busy it is,cause PB was empty,HRH was packed..
