Okay, I know I am going to sound like a grinch here, but for some reason we tend to prefer WDW (or Disneyland) in its "usual" state as opposed to when it is decorated for a holiday, so I'm wondering how much of WDW is changed (decorations at parks/resorts, music/lighting changes, and so on) in October in honor of Halloween. Not that we don't love Disney every day of the year--I would still go and have the time of my life if it were decorated to the hilt for Groundhog Day!--but I want to be prepared for anything that might be different, say if the Castle has giant spiders all over it or the Contemporary is draped with faux skeletons. Plus my 3-year-old is easily spooked and I want to prepare him if there will be anything like spooky music or noises where there usually is not.
Obviously MNSSHP will be wonderfully done up for Halloween but what will we see during our general touring?
Thanks!
Thrilled about our 1st October trip!!

They do have a large spider during MNSSHP but he's usually crawling on a building in Tomorrowland.
