I am thinking of splitting my HRH stay with RPR. I have given some thought to trying CL but if it is available at checkin I can upgrade to a suite for $35.00 more a night( with Loews Gold) which I believe is less than CL. I travel alone so I really don't need alot of space(but I heard the suites were nice) and I probably wouldn't eat that much. Do they have alot of adult beverages at night? I do enjoy a couple of drinks at the end of a long day at the parks. Does anyone know what hours the lounge is open at night when food and drink are available? Is there a list of the offerings somewhere? Sorry the search engine doesn't work with my computer so I really appreciate any info you can give me. Also is there any word on RPR renovations lately?
Thanks!!!!!:)

RPR Club -- coffee/tea starting at 6:30 am and going all day.

7 am - 10:30 am, breakfast: fresh-squeezed juices, cereal, oatmeal, warm cinnamon buns, pastries, fresh fruit, bagels, breads for toasting (cream cheese, butter, jelly, etc).

Lite snacks/bottled water/soda throughout the afternoon. Snacks are a hit or miss. Sometimes they have fresh baked cookies, sometimes mini bags of chips, sometimes nothing.

5-7 pm, wine and beer for free. We have never seen them run out. Mixed drinks are available for a $5 pour. There is always one hot appetizer (shrimp skewers, chicken skewers, tortellini, dumplings, spring rolls, etc), one or two cold salads (pasta, shrimp, potato, etc), veggies and dips, cheeses and crackers, tortilla chips with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole, and PB&J uncrustables.

8 pm starts the dessert offerings. Lots of cakes, sometimes cookies. Not snacky type things, but gourmet goods that you take a slice of.

The lounge is open till 10 or 10:30, I don't remember as we usually arent in there past 7:30.

As far as the renovations go, you can find pics of the rooms here (Dagny's post #980):

Many think the changes aren't for the better.

We have stayed RPR Club 6x. Let me know if I can help further. Our experience has been that upgrading your ressie to club (if available) at the time of check in is an extra $100/night.

Thank you so much for the information and the link to the new rooms.I don't really like the new color scheme either. I really liked the rich dark colors they use to have in the rooms.I got really excited when I heard they were renovating the RPR rooms.I think I will just enjoy my 1st stay for
5 nights at HRH instead of doing a split stay. I was worried I would miss RPR but it doesn't seem to have the same ambience anymore. I will be curious to see if people feel the rooms look better in person. Thanks for the information on RPR CL I really don't think that it is worth the extra money.I will just have the towncar make a grocery stop and get my own adult beverages and water.
Thanks again!!!!:)
